About 3 miles from Belper ...
Fritchley near Crich (famous for it's tramway museum) and Matlock..

Actually Alton Towers is nearer to me and I'm sure they don't have a roller coaster anything like as bad as the one we've been on for weeks:rotfl:

Wow! That's amazing. I remember the museum at Crich. Used to take the kids to Heights of Abraham at Matlock and Gulliver's Kingdom when they were little. My favourite is Cromford ... the mill and walking by the canal. Gosh, I feel nostalgic. My mother passed away 10 years ago (aged only 61).

Oh, and the John Smedley Factory Shop!

Know the Cat and Fiddle well - lovely when the sun is out but when the weather closes in you know about it!
