Well here goes! DS4 took money for food in addition to his packed lunch today so that's not a good start. Anyone have any ideas how to stop them growing?
Good thing I decided to run it over the calendar month rather than starting at the weekend. We managed to spend £80 at Mr. M's and Mr. A's on Saturday and then the boys wanted to go Christmas shopping yesterday and we ended up taking them to the Pizza Hut. That's the second time this year!

Have done the main shop for this week (week 2 for me) and am really hoping I don’t need anything else. Have bought 8 litres of fruit juice, which DD drinks loads of.
Most of it is for pack-ups, as still have loads of mains in. DD gets a HM fruit & jelly pot & HM flapjack (usually with fruit in too), which are already made up for the week. Need fresh fruit & salad each week. And have the stuff to make smoked mackerel pate & chicken liver pate – so will be making those after school.
DD wants to make some HM pasties too. She always said she didn’t like pastry, but after nicking some of my bacon & cheese pasty she decided it was delicious.0 -
mummy2my I am eagerly awaiting my first order today so will let you know how it goes, on one of the other threads (possibly simplifying life, or things are tough now) lots of people have ordered and not seen any complaints or problems. The only issue was they were so overwhelmed with orders after appearing on here, they shut the website for 2 days to catch up, but thye were upfront about it, which I thought was good. They also posted up a discount code for MSE, for 5%. You might be able to find it if you search, dont think I'm allowed to post it on here. NSD for me today and about 8 thingsw in the fridge that need eating so we will be having one of those for tea. Did the potato/cheese sauce layer thing again last night with a bit of bacon that needed using, is fast becoming a cheap, use things up staple in our house.Eat food, not edible food-like items. Mostly plants.0

Hi spent another £11.70 on food and bits, so add that to the £27 and I have spent £38 in total so not doing too bad. I know I should not add in the 27 as it was money my dad gave me but I would have spent it on Carp other wise. Wins in 09 = A vodka cocktail kit thing lol, £150 Amazon voucher.0
