    They may be right, provided you said that it was no longer your main account, ie that your live account was not the account you were claiming from.

  • after claimin the hardship route halifax wont pay out my bank charge claim as my account is closed it is now wi the fsa has anyone ever known the banks then pay out

    Crikey!!!!

    In process of claiming our bank charges with Halifax under hardship rule, they closed our account several months ago, but there's still a small amount we owe them on the overdraft.

    Will let you know how we get on, but good luck with your case
