Who's moaning? Not I.0

Frankly, you're as bad as each other.
maybe you're right - which also means that he should be getting comments like "Actually I said the !!!!!! obsession is pretty weird. The one that many posters (including you?) seem to have about him." which wasn't said the other way around...
i'm fine about it but find it amusing and can be quite good entertainment value.0 -
I have tried on a couple of ocassions to bury the hatchet with !!!!!! but he threw it in my face. I have also stayed well away from him and instead just posted in the 'FTSE back up' and other threads, but then he either follows me around and posts comments or I come across remarks he's made about me in other threads (usually when he's arguing with chucky).
I therefore decided to dig up the hatchet and give as good as I got. It's just a little too easy though because he comes across as such a sad case. In any other circumstances I'd feel sorry for him, but with his schadenfreunde ways, the 'I have been saying this all along but no one will listen to me' self-agrandising statements and his hypocracy of calling BTLers one minute and then aspiring to be one himself the next, means that I just can't warm to the guy.
However, in light of your 'You're as bad as each other' statement, I'll try again and will try to make this my last !!!!!! comment. Sometimes when you wrestle in the mud with these characters, you get covered in just as much !!!!!!.Mortgage Free in 3 Years (Apr 2007 / Currently / Δ Difference)

to add to that i have actually sent him a PM on one occasion asking him to take the personal argument off the thread - as expected he ignored it, so obviously preferred to argue openly off topic on a thread. that answered all my questions.
he constantly mentions me in threads even when i'm not involved in the discussion, if he didn't want me to get involved and "target" him - why would he do that!?0 -

Wrong - I've had DD on ignore for a couple of months now. Any time I do bother to take a look at what he's posting, there's about a 50% chance that it's just a jibe at me.
If you can point at anything like that level of provocative output from me - I'd like to see the evidence. Since I've put him ignore and don't respond to his constant insults and jibes I don't see that I can do much more. If you have a problem with the fact that DD has some sort of obsession with me, take it up with him or the mods but don't shove half the blame on me for merely existing and being a target for his bile.
As for the mods, the fact that Chucky is still at liberty to post here after his recent (and latest in a long line of) disgraceful comments makes it pretty obvious that this forum really is 'the group that moderators forgot. There have been rumblings from the mods before that they don't like the trouble that this group generates - well here's an idea, do some moderating and take action against posters who seem to be here as much to take out their aggression on other MSEers as to actually debate house prices and the markets.--
Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.0 -

Gen is right but you just can't see it.
by the way you've just summarised yourself above beautifully and how do you know what DD is saying if he is on ignore!?!?
also one thing you seem to forget and encourage is the abuse that I have been receiving for weeks - again you cannot see this along with your online buddies but I didn't expect you or them to see it either.
i'm still smiling - i bet you never do though

Great stuff, then you'll also stop the sniping too and we'll just ignore each other except to debate on relevent topics, some of which we will agree on and some of which we won't.
This does mean though !!!!!! that you have to stop dragging my username into your spats with Chucky (I lose track of the number of times I've run across an argument between you two and have seen something along the lines of "bla blah chucky and DD is just as bad, blah blah DD this, blah blah DD that".
YOu also have to try and stop jumping in on other people's arguments and doing your usual !!!!!! stirring, then running off and claiming innocence (like you just did above).
We'll see how long this lasts, !!!!!! but I guarantee that you'll be the first to break. You can't help yourself.
Oh for some peace and quiet. I'm quite lookign forward to it, however short-lived

You are SO full of !!!!!!, DD. This very thread has YOU jumping in and !!!!!! stirring, now running off and claiming innocence. You two-faced bleep, bleep, bleep...
Lets review this thread for a moment...
!!!!!!? posts;
"Nothing can stop Gordonomics. He figures he can control everything and make things happen in the economy by dictat.
Even telling the public about stuff the government doesn't want you to hear can land you being arrested and having anti-terrorist police searching your parliamentary office these days.
Won't be long before we see 'anti-terror' laws and organisations being deployed more widely against the general public - Brown and his increasingly autocratic chums are a menace."
You respond with;
"There is no cap gains or VAT on Gold Sovereigns because they're classed as currency. If the tin foil brigade want to hide their money then they can buy sovs. However, I suspect it more likely that you could lose your wealth in a fire or robbery than with Zimbabwe style hyper inflation.
However, you makes your choices and you takes your chances.
Interesting that !!!!!! is increasingly vocal about his hyper inflation prediction yet has not done anything about it. He sold his gold and he hasn't bought a house. One would protect his wealth due to its intrinsic value, the other could be paid off with one week's income of £1M if we go down the Zimbabwe route. It's laughable that !!!!!! makes these outlandish financial prdictions, it's regrettable that the feeble minded listen to him.
My advice? Listen to people who follow their own advice. Simple as."
Choosing to link laughable, outlandish and feeble-minded with !!!!!!? comments is bile. Pure and simple.
He has an opinion, you have an opinion; you want to state it fine, but keep it from being personal. Then !!!!!! or take it somewhere else.
ps. Are you doing your regular deletion act?? Maybe you/mods were advised to do so, because of a personal information concern, granted, but "he knows who his is, and now I know who he his" has disappeard since yesterday - completely. Could have been edited if sensitive, could have been left, as if sensitivity was the issue the whole thread should have disappeared.
My take on it, is that you said that with a view to having a supposed "hold" over an individual, like the bullying, twisting, obsessed phsyco that you are.
You are Bruno, admit it...
If I now add a wink, does that excuse everything else, like you try to do, to pretend not meaning offence.
Coz that is bollox too.0 -
Methinks the lady doth protest too much...
Oh, woe is me...

I happen to think that there is an appalling lack of financial awareness amongst the general public. Sorry if you pick that up as a denegration, it's an observation on my part. Maybe you should chill out.

Posters on this forum could only come up with 10 people IN THE WHOLE WORLD who saw this coming - so I think your slating of the general public was unmerited. Must admit I don't "know" you !!!!!! and it annoyed me. If you chuck mud you can expect it to come back.0
