Thanks Bob - have thought about Chester as we have friends there. Would be over an hour commute though once you have travelling to and from station.... Have looked around Aigburgh, Mossley Hill, Childwall etc in the south Liverpool area and up toward Crosby to the North. Still need to explore the Wirral. Also wondered about areas like Knowsley - huge park there for the dogs - but is it all full of tigers?? (they wouldn't like that much!) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Right - have checked and the sofa is all mine mine mine (oh - and OH's! :o:D). Am going to go and jump on it to celebrate! And to make sure I don't just swallow up and spend that payment next month when I should be snowballing it I have also set up a regular payment for the same amount to my BC starting January. Think I am happy with that for debt busting today!

Woot!! Mizmir is debt busting a gogo!

I think the monkeys would object as well..:rotfl: I think depending on where you work you may well have a bit of a commute on your hands anyway..Good connections for Liverpool lime street if you are in the centre...
We live in Chorley, North of Liverpool and i have a couple of friends who commute using the train..they find it a lot easier, but train fares are going up as well..
Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:

Well managed to make some progress on my work stuff but still have a lot of the week's ongoing stuff to do:
    • Write up those reports for external work that should bring in £250 extra.
    • Book car in for MOT
    • Check car insurance deals - both cars due for renewal this month - ouch!
    • [STRIKE]Sort out deposit and confirmation for dog sitter booking[/STRIKE] Done - one thing at least!
    • Start filing and sorting out my tax return for the accountant
    • Follow up a couple of training clients
Must start on some of those tonight: reports and training clients are income earners so will prioritise those.

yes - leather 2-seater recliner sofa and chair! Bought them before LBM but love them anyway :o - and were interest free for 3 years (but probably marked up to twice the price as elsewhere!). But they are as good as they were when we got them 3 years ago and the dogs sleep on them regularly - I love leather!

Well I have at least managed to chase up the potential clients - two individual ones and two workshop ones which is great. Still have the reports which I'll have to do tomorrow - too tired tonight.

But overall quite a good day. Just wish it wasn't sooooo cold!!
