I'm limited to what I can grow in pots, so it will be Cherry tomatoes. french beans & strawberries, same as last year. It's not much, but every little helps.

AS a novice gardener, I have bought some packs from Woolworths for about £3 each. They consist of a terracotta bowl, compost and seeds - one each of tomatoes, 3 kinds of herbs and strawberries.
The bowls are fairly shallow so I am not sure how the tomatoes will do in them. I reckon that the bowls themselves would cost £3 so I have not lost anything and I MIGHT get some produce.0 -
Calley and others...
I've really enjoyed this thread - shall we start a new one each month so we can let each other know where we are up to and share gardening advice/tips?
I'd be happy to start off the February thread on Wednesday. What do others think?0 -

To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.
