How long between submitting the on line test and receiving confirmation of the results, please?

Also, if you are unsuccessful in the test, can you submit further test for other vacancies? I am concerned in that I submitted a test over a week ago for one vacancy, then was invited to submit on line test again for other vacancies, but then received further e-mail informing me that the results of the first submitted test would be used for subsequent applications ! - this is ok if I passed, but obviously not if I didnt !!!:confused:

Does anybody know the difference between the customer service behavioural competency and the customer service professional competency? If it is down under both does this mean I will get asked two questions about customer service?

...........I am editing this now after having my interview today just to answer my own question in case anyone else was wondering the same thing. I'm not really sure whether there is a real difference between the two customer service competencies, but i did get asked one question for each of them.

I applied for the exact same position, had my interview last Friday also at Baskerville House, if they are still interviewing then this must mean they have had a lot of response. Oh dear! the chances of getting the job must decrease as days go by..

Did they give you any information? Interviews were done by Manpower and they didnt know anything about the role, so the bit to ask questions at the end was pointless.. The only thing they said is that it can take TWELVE weeks for an outcome!

Yeah I was told it could take up to 12 weeks as well. I had an interview for a different position in Walsall last week though, and they said up to 3 week, so I am hoping this is true for both. I think Manpower just don't really know how long it will take, so say 12 weeks because it is the maximum length DWP have told them.

That was the only question I asked at the end, because like you said, it was pointless asking them questions about the role. The interview I had in Walsall was with one DWP person and one Manpower person, but maybe the DWP just can't spare their staff anymore!

    Good luck!
  • If anyone has descriptions of the following DWP competencies:

    Analysing, Improving and Changing
    Building Capabilities

in .pdf format or other, could you please email them to me? (garty22@hotmail.com) They are usually available for all online but recently they all seem to be disappearing. This would be doing me a great favour!

I found a vacancy advertised on the JobCentre Plus website for IRC61418, AO in the Black Country. However, it is not on the actual DWP website. Does anybody know anything about this?

I'm a bit dubious about whether this is a real ad or not. Firstly, the date posted is July 2, and the closing date is July 8. Secondly, they say the location is 'Black Country'; I've seen vacancies advertised for Walsall before, but not for the Black Country as a whole.
