I did an online test on tuesday for the Brighton EO and AO positions... does anyone have an idea of when I will find out how I scored and so on?:o

hello everyone.just wanted to ask a question but Slitty was faster:beer: So have another one - was reading all the posts and I'm a bit confused - the online test we had to do - has it replaced the numeracy and literacy test everybody mentioned or is it an additional one? thank you.

Got a voice mail msge fri to say I have an interview next week, given name of hotel but not location!

Callers no was with held and was told i would get an email with all details- nothing yet.

I completed an online test for an HEO role on 20th June, then received a call on 2nd July inviting me to an interview on 8th July. Pretty quick timeframes down here in Hampshire! I'm just hoping they make a final decision as quickly - They won't need to do any checks this time as I'm already working for them!

Crockpot, i've got an interview for EO in West Yorkshire, the address i've been given is....

DWP Assessment Leeds,Radisson SAS Hotel Leeds, 1 the Light, Leeds, LS1 8TL

I only got the email yesterday and my interview in on Monday! not much time to prepare!!!

Hello it doesnt matther if it is on monday just make sure you get your preparation sorted out today and get plenty of practice in.

Also make sure you have good examples ready for each of the competencies and be and look confident.

Also at the end ask them questions such as:

What training/development will i be provided with?

When will I recieve the results?

Also important thing is that you answer the bullet points in the competencies obviously you can't cover everything just some of them.

If there is any info missing they will prompt you to gain the required info.
And one other thing take your notes in to the interview room if it makes you feel confident but don't refer to them at all or it could be used against you as happened with me.


Show your listening by nodding your head and once they ask you a question if you dnt understand what they are saying. Say so you are asking me.............

When I got the feedback from my interview, I was criticised for not using my notes enough!!!

lol ok but dnt use them to much for my interview I think i may have been penalised because I read them instead of quickly referring to them!!
