I think most things have been covered here...

Praps' I can just mention: use the job description notes and
competencies bumf available on the DwP website to help you
    create your interview notes --

You can use notes! Go at your own pace, and try to resist the temptation to flap ;-)

You might find having some notes to be a useful 'mental crutch' too.

    Good luck! ;)

What are the training/development opportunities that I will be provided with?

When will I hear about the result of this interview?

If you ask questions at the end shows that you are interested 1 or 2 should do these ones will be perfect.

    Thanks sooo much!!!!!

    Hi guys,

Had interview for the EO position, not quite sure how it went, I answered all the questions fine, but then when I came out, I saw some people from my group were still in their interview process. This made me rethink if I gave brief answers/came out too quick. I didn't want to blag on too much. I really want the job, seems very good.

Does anyone know how the scoring system works and how they mark you. From what I understand it's like 45 marks for the questions, does that mean for every point noted by the interviewer is a mark, cos am thinking it'll be really hard to cover roughly 10 points for each question?
  • Hello,

Just wanted to know if any had an EO interview recently, can you remember questions that were asked.

    Thanks

Hiyas - I applied for both the EO and the AO position advertised in brighton. The position was only advertised for a couple of days and the closing date was last thursday(I sent my applications in the early afternoon on that day - well before close of business). The closing date for the online test is supposedly today the 29th at midnight. I still haven't received anything other than the inital automated response.... No login for the online test. I've checked my junk mail and my other e-mail addy :(

Has anyone else applied for brighton and if so have you received anything yet??? I'm certain I filled out the form correctly - my partner double checked it and he also applied for both positions himself. He has quite a bit of experience in this kind of work - I'd be stunned if he didn't at least get to the online test stage but we haven't heard a thing... :(

I got my invitation for the online test about 5 days after the closing date for doing the test. I completed the test straight away and got invited to an interview. This was in Birmingham though.

I have had several different instances in applying for DWP positions where the test dates/ interview dates have been pushed back. Guess they are just so busy at the moment.

So you might still hear from them. Don't give up just yet!

Thanks for the support - it calmed me down knowing that!

I just got a mail with an "You have been invited to complete the DWP On Line Assessment, IRC 60370."

That IRC is for the EO position - I also applied for the AO position IRC60369, but I only got one mail and it doesn't say anything about it there... Will they count this test towards both?

I recently did the tests for an AO possion. I passed my tests and was invited to an interview on the 23rd. I attended the interview and had recieved no correspondence from them, until today when i recieved a letter saying saying that it confirmed that i had passed the tests with my score.
Does this mean i was unsuccessful at interview?

    Thanks.

They should send you another one about the interview. This is just the results for your tests in case you apply for another position. That's what happened with me anyway.

It was IRC60076, several different AO positions. My interview is tomorrow at Baskerville House in Centenery Square.

Does anybody know the difference between the customer service behavioural competency and the customer service professional competency? If it is down under both does this mean I will get asked two questions about customer service?

...........I am editing this now after having my interview today just to answer my own question in case anyone else was wondering the same thing. I'm not really sure whether there is a real difference between the two customer service competencies, but i did get asked one question for each of them.
