I think everyone who is fed up with them should ring Customer Services and complain. It's the only way they will know! I gave them 'what for' this morning - not that it did any good, but we shouldn't just let them get away with it without a good old moan!
  • I think we should wait to see if anyone else's slots get cancelled. If mine doesn't then I'm not gonna shout about the fact that I used the special URL to get my slot early. Why doesn't everyone try it and see what happens. I've upped my order to over £200 so maybe they will think twice about cancelling it.
  • YesI did too just to be on the safe side!

Tesco just called me to cancel my delivery slot on the 22nd Dec, she said it can be rebooked on the 30th of November along with everyone else

But it's not 'everybody else', is it? It's the rest of us plebs who didn't get priority treatment

If I get mine cancelled, then I will tell them to go forth and multiply! Especially after I got trapped in their carpark for 2 hours last Xmas Eve!!!!

Me too - just had the call from a lovely Welsh lady called Kelly, and furthermore she said that people that had been called to say their slot had been cancelled that had subsequently done the same thing again had had their delivery accounts suspended until after Christmas, so I don't think it's worth risking it again. Was still worth a try though! So if we all stay up until midnight on Saturday evening, that's when they'll become available. Fastest finger first methinks lol.

I booked my delivery for the 23rd yesterday but I would be very hacked off, like some of you rightly are, if some people had this option and others haven't. There isn't really any logic to it either...

You should treat all your customers the same, irrelavant on how much they buy or what they buy.

Mine was cancelled this morning too. I just tried Asda home delivery for the first time last week and will be swapping over to them - helped me make the decision!

Well I've not had mine cancelled as yet, but they may have left a message on my home phone of course!
  • Tesco have just left me the message on my ansaphone, cancelling my order!

They can stuff off! It's Asda/Morrisons for me from now on - it's the principle of the thing.

    GRRR!
