I placed my order with Asda weeks ago when they first came available to come yesterday, they didn't arrive GRRRR. They rang to say that the van had broke down (why not just say they overbooked slots) and its would be coming in the afternoon.
I rang customer services twice and they said it should be on the van, and should be delivered. (Got an e-voucher for free delivery off my next order for the trouble)
I waited up till 11pm and went to bed in tears - Im fuming - so now on xmas eve I have to take my 12 month old round the supermarket, wait in long queues, hope they have what I need left, get stressed out (the whole point of ordering online to avoid this)
- merry xmas mr asda.
Im going to ring them this morning - any tips on how I should handle this?0 -
Southampton Tesco (Bursledon) - New shopping dates available between xmas and New Year.
I have just been online and have seen that they seem to have added new slots for some xmas dates.

I'm sorry to hear of your problems... We had a van brake down on Monday and had to have a locally hired van. Our store has 10 vans that go out 3 times a day from 10am until 10pm. If one gets a puncture or worse, has an accident, there is no spare van kicking around the place for us to use.
The van I drove last night only had one headlight! Boy was I pleased I never got stopped! But at least everyone got their order... almost on time!
Merry Christmas Everyone!

Hello
Well waitrose & ocado came with no problems and no subs :j , Nearly had a asda nightmare yesterday they rang a 9.05am to say that my order was cancelled  so i rang back they checked my card and no problem so they said the order was on it's way, So 4.55pm they turn up the guy was bringing out the wrong shopping and it took 30 mins to sort out, The subs i had was a 1/2 coconut for the birds i recieved a fat ball holder, I asked for samson or drum tabbaco only and recieved they own bayside the best was i asked for a pack of 4 lightblubs and recieved only 2 in the box and the 2 where blown.

my tesco order arrived yesterday with 70 pounds worth of items unavailable and some ridiculous substitutions.i wont ever use them this near christmas again.0

My Waitrose (not Ocado) order came yesterday, just 1 substitute, which was a loaf of bread. Very happy. I normally use Asda during the year, but have a 'treat' delivery at Christmas from Waitrose. They were prompt, the lad was very well spoken and polite and overall I was very happy.
Shame I can't afford them the rest of the year! Back to Asda for my end of month shop!"Stay Wonky":D
