oooh, that worked for me- now i have my shopping booked for the 32rd!!
    Thank you :)
It was handy, as i noticed there was only one time slot left for this area after the 22nd!

  • I was just thinking how quickly this last year has flown and remember the hoohah last year about Mr T and his amazing, disappearing delivery slots!!

I really wouldn't bother trying to mess around with the URLs tbh - a load of us did last year and we all got them cancelled after a couple of days.
  • oh well i have tried it, so will wait and see

I think its an absolute joke, this happened last year too everyone up in arms that they spent fortunes with Tesco but no priority. I shop with them probably 50/52 weeks of the year but not always online...so does that qualify for being loyal?? I would like to be offered a free gift and a priority online booking as they must no how much we all spend by taking a look at our clubcards!!!!

i have just booked the 23rd, no biggie if it gets cancelled, would make life eassier if it didnt though but i quite like the hussle and bustle of shopping instore at xmas.

But DF is working xmas eve and is on call xmas day, so really dont want to waste the 23rd shopping.

If anyone wants to try this - when you go to book a slot, in the URL (link) at the top of the screen there is a week number - change this to be week=3 :

10-16 Dec reads like this :

    hxxp://ww.tesco.com/superstore/deliveryslots/?week=2&target=ordersummary&orderNo=-1&addrId=1&BranchNo=9999

    Change it to this :

    hxxp://ww.tesco.com/superstore/deliveryslots/?week=3&target=ordersummary&orderNo=-1&addrId=1&BranchNo=9999

Have just booked a slot using the above method and it's not been cancelled yet!

    Good luck

Thank you Morganb - this just worked for me too.

Apparently I wasn't a priority customer either despite doing my monthly shop with them for the last 4 years!

Hah! Tesco can kiss my (Y) :D

I was also one of the many that did the url trick last year and got the phone call to say that it was cancelled so wont be bothering this year.

Just spoken with Sainsbury's, explained again about being a disabled single mum with 15 for xmas all turning up late on xmas eve, well tbh 2 of them are turning up on the 23rd but they're decrepit and I can't ask them to shop... Anyway, the guy at Sainsbury's said they are not doing any priority booking of delivery slots this year, but suggested I rang in about a week's time, at which point they should be able to slot me in to the 22nd. So, full marks for Sainsbury's and quack quack oops for Tesco who just told me I'd have to take my chance - do they have more customers than is good for them?

  • Hi the only problems is the store number. I think the one you have is in Evesham, so when I accessed the link, I'm going to get a delivery to North Wales from this store. Do you think I'll get it??

    Thanks anyway
