  • Hi all

I've not done much yet this month. I've paid a massive £1 to all my creditors and they are not happy. I've got a job interview on Tuesday so fingers crossed cos I'm so bored at home. On the plus side its given me time to register with all the free bingo sites at times when people are at work. I'm checking out mystery shopping. I've got £10 coming for an old mobile phone which is good and I should have a cheque next week for the day and a half that i worked for a company before xmas.

Keep up the good work everyone

Have started to list on ebay and get the ball rolling with a few other things so fingers crossed I can start paying a bit more off.

£32 today to barclaycard. Over the £600 mark but was hoping to get to the £1000 by end March  A few bits on amazon and some survey points coming my way so they will help - not a lot but something.

Not been on for a bit due to other committments like getting married! But I've now updated my signature for the payments made to mine and the OH's CC's (I include both as I look after all the finances).

Had to estimate expenses gone on the credit card though (due to the wedding) as don't have statement to hand so will adjust accurately when I do. Will also update tomorrow as I intend to make another one-off payment of £1k.

Just found statement (was next to me all the time!) so will update signature now!

susie - congrats on getting married :T

madmich - good luck with the job hunting. At least you are making good MSE use of your time, in the meantime.

Everyone is doing well - January is always going to be a slow month after the excesses of December, and the length of time between paydays etc, so to have debt reducing at all is nothing short of excellent!

I have received £10 from a scratchcard today, so paid that straight out to my egg loan and updated my signature.......baby steps!
