    I'm always behind!

I'm almost uptodate with VAT. Always clear it off before the next quarter is due. Was fine until cash flow slowed down. Knocked me back a bit. Its the surcharges that hit you!

Uptodate with HMRC (just) - but will be behind again after the 31st!!!

Save for my credit card I do not have any other debt although my OH has a loan with HSBC that he is paying back interest free now.

Another £150 to Nationwide from me today - what's left of my Scottish Power credit after I take out the money for my tax disc, have paid it straight away (and will get my tax disc sorted tomorrow) otherwise it just gets nibbled away!

Well done everyone - love seeing those sigs update, off to do mine now!

I was with Lloyds TSB and had a Credit Card that helped with Cashflow, it was 30 days interest free and always helped to bridge the gap until payments came in.

Can you PM me what you do, we may be able to help each other with other areas/suggestions!

  • Morning!
Payday and overtime in too so have managed to do the Jan challenge early. Will keep trying though to increase the amount. Feel positive for everyone at the start of a new year and it feels good to know that we will all owe less this time next year.
    Keep going everyone!

  • Hi all

    No more money paid unfortunatly.

I think the interview went well and I should hear either tomorrow or Monday so everything crossed everyone!

On the plus side I have found some more jobs to apply for... not really what I want but its work and I might also have the possibility of doing some temping work where I worked over a year ago cos someone walked out and my name was put forward. It would mean moving away from my hubby on the Isle of Wight and back in with either my sister in law or father in law for a bit but we survived that last year when we were apart for 8 months and its money. Hubby was very supportive when I mentioned it and he said "oh you could treat yourself to those shoes now".... no I'm not going to get those shoes (unless I get some vouchers for my birthday on sunday) untill I have cleared a debt. That seems to be my way of dealing with this at the moment and more incentive to clear the debts (and then save for the shoes). I'm going away for a few days so I may not be able to post on here until I get back on Sunday but will if I can.

Keep up the good work everyone!!!
