4p is 4p! At least it's going in the right direction :)

  • Hello everyone

Hope you all had good Christmases and New Years. Can I post this on here - I just need a bit of support/advice? - I have got a whopping £1000 back from credit card fees, and I know I should put it towards my debt but I am desperate to go on holiday in February with my OH which this would pay for. OH really wants to go as well, but I would feel bad if he paid for me. Haven't been away for 2 years now....what do you think I should do? (Obviously I know what I REALLY should do but I sort of feel that if I'm going to stick at this I need somethings to look forward to sometimes as it feels rather like a relentless self-deprivation exercise!)

    Thanks in advance!

    Well now......

Do you really have to spend all of the £1,000 on the holiday? Why not put half towards debts and half towards the holiday? £1,000 is an awful lot for one person, I pay that for a week with a family of three.
  • Ps - trying very hard - what about a compromise? Pay half your CC's and the rest on your holiday?
  • Haven't been around for a while, but back and raring to go! £75.00 to Next Directory for me today ;)
