    Hi All

Another latecomer here! I'd like to sign up too for £20K. This is a higher total than I think I can achieve but if I aim high I may do even better than I think I can.

  • Hi all

I want to make/save approx £15850.00 by the end of next year for various things.

On top of this I am planning on moving out but this could be put back a bit because I am either being made redundant this week (either with Government Statutory of which I will get nothing as I haven't worked here for 2 years or if enough people agree to new terms and conditions then I will be made redundant with enough money for 3 months or stay and get a 10% pay cut). Either way I will be looking for a new job becasue even if I stay the people who have bought us seem dodgy, hopefully will get a new job with more money.

Does everyone do lots of little things on the side of their normal work or do lots of overtime (I don't have this option because they don't pay it)? I would love to have this much by the end if next year but it just seems a little impossible, but so many people seem to do it?

I don't get overtime as my job is very much 9-5 and thats it, but I do a huge ammount of other things on the side, ebay, dooyoo, STP, freescratchcards, amazon-ing books and dvds, recycling phones, reclaiming my cc charges, mystery shopping and starting to look at matched betting.

  • Thankyou Dinah. Knowing someone else makes the money by doing things on the side and not through overtime/maybe 2nd job makes me think I might be able to too :)

Slice the pie. See the thread on Up Your Income for details. It's a music reviewing site.
  • Thanks. Does anyone know if you have to declare tax on Slice the Pie and reviews?
