in spite of my title am very grateful to even be even having a pay day so just wanted to add my lot and say that's another £650 to be added to the challenge pot. just recieved my statement from vanquis and the total is now £125 so just one more payment and I will be free of that card just three more to go.

congrats to everyone sometimes it can feel a little rough but I truly believe we are working towards our financial freedom which is a wonderful goal.

well I have done my calculations and the total I have paid is £4970. it seems so bizarre seeing that amount up there just missing my halfway mark but from september hope to be in the position to snowball and increase my payments. its been really handing noting down my progress and getting inspiration from everyone else. :rotfl:

Well I've had quite an exciting start to the month - £27 to HSBC, £95 to Barclaycard and £728 to Mint (due to a sort of expected windfall, but nice all the same!). Hope everyone is having a nice weekend - OH cracked his tooth on a mystery shop dinner last night, so I need to sort out a dentist for him - argh! its very annoying, but no-ones fault really x
