Well the final payment to the Egg loan is waiting to be taken out of my account :j
This month ive made about £2k in overpayments to Egg, along with my increased montly payment AND overpayments has lead to me paying off the Egg loan 18 months early :j:j:j
Unfortunatly my last loan doesnt allow overpayments so the money will be put to 1 side to pay off at the end of the year... so all further payments will be "virtual" payments based on outstanding amount on loan minus savings in bank.
Still, im SOOOOOOO chuffed about paying off a loan that early, yay for me
And I have my yearly pay review today so fingers crossed for a huge rise :rotfl:

Well done Terakris! That sounds brilliant!Paying down the mortgage:
At 1 October 2011: £226,000
Currently: £224,499
Aim: 85% LTV (£212,500)
Paid £1,500
Target remaining: 88.89%0 -
Well - EDF energy were being rather irritating, so I decided to switch. I have very low energy bills (£45 for gas and £11 for elec) so I didn't stand to save a lot of money. However, Quidco to the rescue, £80 cash back for switching to Scottish Power - and while I was there, I got £25 cashback from Jackpotjoy for spending a £10. So that's a startlingly easy £95 that'll go off the Amex when it arrives!

I love those Quidco cashbacks. I am waiting for £70 from more than at the moment, as well as various bingo cashbacks...0

I agree, cash back is amazing! I have been inspired to change my gas and elec to Scottish Power following Batfinks reminder so £80 waiting to come to me! I think i have made around £1700 over the last two years so def worth it!Paying down the mortgage:

I was so suspicious of it when I first came across quidco because it sounded too good to be true, but in three years I've only ever had one transaction not pay out.0
