Today I received a letter from Llodstsb credit card services to tell me they have found the £110 I paid in on 12th June and they have credited my credit card account and as an apology they have returned my interest paid. 15p, big deal, it has cost me more than that in phone calls.
I can now cross another £110 off my debt though.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

None of my business but if you've got savings, wouldnt you be better off putting them towards the debt?
I certainly would - but with the job market the way that it is, and my own job not being the most secure in the world - I am much happier having the safety net in place, just incase.
I've read the article from Martin saying it's a bad idea, but I can't pay my mortgage, council tax etc by credit card and if I had to start drawing cash on them the rate would kill me in no time.
And don't worry - of course it's your business, we're all in this together!

OK. Just checking!
Nothing new to report here though the pot is building up again for this month. Won't be paying anything for another month although I've started the long process of winding down lots of my credit cards. `i need another 0% BT but as I've got 40k worth of unused credit on my cards i thought I'd better get rid of a few. Lloyds have offeredme 4.9% for six months, which I thought was pants, and yesterday Natwest offered 3.9% for six months. I've always managed to find 0% cards; so I'm hoping I can do that again. Going to apply for Abbey card today and see what happens.0 -

I am pleased to report that my debt has gone down today :j due to my largest DD going out today to Egg £230.14 and it is all capital :j:j
OH offered a BT deal yesterday from citibank 6.9% until 1st Dec with 3% fee so allowing for it not to go through until the end of the month that would be a deal for 4 months so the fee is really 9% annually added to the 6.9% it is higher than his standard rate and it would muck up his 0% deal which doesn't finish until January - do they think we are muppetswell actually they probably do:mad:

That's tricksy of them. I also have noticed that my credit cards tend to go a bit mad offering me deals for BTs when I've got money on the card, but as soon as I clear the card they go quiet... hoping to trap the card money behind the BT. Naughty.0 -
A quick £50 from me to Egg.0
