I am back from my trip and whilst I was away I had my payday as this only happens every three months it is a big event.
I have 2 CC 0% deals ending this month so I have paid those off and with my other payments that means I have paid an extra £8224.96. I have also finished the car fund (still not bought I keep hoping OH will change his mind so I can use it for debts but not much chance of that ).
So with the car fund I have paid or saved over 33K this year.
That is not the whole picture though because paying the 0% deals off has left me short of money until pay day in 3 months time so unless a miracle happens I may have to take out another 0% deal to manage which means I will be going in the wrong direction. My thoughts are pay them off now avoid interest work as hard as I can to get extra money so that when/if I have to take out a new deal it will be for a lesser amount. We will see.
