HELP,,,IS THERE A THREAD FOR ME
I want to have an aim for this challenge but it all depends on when i start my new job as a bank healthcare assistant, what with needing a health assessment, a crb check and two week training course, i dont think it will be until june or july, so until then i dont want to commit to this challenge, however i am already thinking of ways to do it. I have on the other hand started doing surveys, cashback sites and daily clicks etc, my aim with doing these is to be able to have a free christmas or as near to a free christmas as possible, is there a thread that combines all of this or do i have to do each seperately, i need to start posting what i am up to with this challenge i have set myself so that i keep motivated, can anyone help.0 -

This is such a flexible challenge that you can do whatever you need! so, why not decide to do a six month challenge to take you up to November, which will give you a nice amount for Christmas?
You can report in here - no problem! Just put the amount that you are aiming for in your signature and keep tabs on here whenever you save something towards it!

I am dipping my toe in your world of sorting out my debts and making some money. For now i want to make £1000 to have a free christmas 2009 or as near to that as possible. I have a couple of cheques from getting rid of two mobile phones, and i have two decent totals from quidco and cashbackkings, when they are awarded i will update my signature. I received my first £3 luncheon vouchers from pinecone research, these have been put into a tin, hopefully i can add to the tin with these, and put it towards my food shopping at christmas. If i dont start thinking about christmas now then it will be upon me in the blink of an eye, and i will end up using a credit card to pay for it, which gets me on to my next challenge, i am starting this in june/july when i begin working, the money i make from this will go straight to the debt free fund. Thankyou for letting me join your thread hypno.0

Hello,
No payments to report for me I'm afraid - however I have been doing some good work. I've been feeling a bit sorry for myself and been very tempted to do some spending the last couple of weeks, so I decided it was time I close down all those old cards and accounts just to be safe.
So I've closed:
HSBC Current Account (with £500 o/d)
Cahoot Current Account (with £300 o/d)
HSBC Platinum Card (with £10,000 limit)
& I've reduced my Amex card limit from £6,000 to £3,000.
To think....they were all full to the brim a couple of years ago!
Keep up the good work - you're all wonderful
