    i've been saving my moeny instead of paying off debts atm as i know i have a big bill of £5000 coming in so i have managed to save £1188 i'm putting this towards my total as if i didn't save it i would have to get a bigger loan
    I have dyslexia, so get used to my spelling and grammar :)
    Mortgage pay off date 11/2028. Target 12/2020 :rotfl:

    Paid another £150 off my debt today.

    I just keep thinking to myself that one day i will be debt free and able to put the money somewhere else e.g. savings account, pension....Yacht!!!:p

    actually, no to the yacht, i get sea sick. :o

    Just to update my April '09 figure: £6529 (from £5171 in March 09)

    Need to make moves on making more money. I will lose my rental income next month so need to make some moves to up my income.

    IT;s true, isn't it. I keep thinking that if I did this next year we could have a fantastic holiday in costa rica or something, somewhere I've always wanted to go to see the rainforests there (done lots of rainforest travelling when I was younger but now I have a family camping in norfolk is about as far as we've got!)

    I have friends who go to all these exotic locations, weekends away etc and I wonder how they can afford it. But then i think to myself that they must be up to their eyeballs in debt and in a short'ish time i will be debt free and having fewer worries and they may be facing financial oblivion.

    Its short term pain for long term gain i suppose.

    Talking of which - another £350 off the debt today.

    It's funny you should all talk about holidays. As soon as I've paid off the debts I'm going to put all my energy into saving up for one of these:

    So that I can do some serious exploring without spending a fortune!
    One thing is for sure - I won't be taking out any finance.....
