I have never done reindeer food (yet) but fairy/angel dust is fantastic. For that you need some cone shaped celephane bags, some ribbon, a little print off poem - if you can print it onto the inside of a xmassy gift tag thats always good. For the contents i use rolled oats, sugar (with added food colouring, a mix of colours is always good as they sparkle nicely)and plenty of edible glitter. Mix and fill and kids love it.
I know its not what you was after but that's another idea in the mean time, variety is great.Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -

I usually use organza bags. Fill them with Asda Value porridge oats (huge bag around 60p) and 8-10 silver balls (sugar cake decorations). Hubby prints out labels for me. I have sent you a pm I got bags that I can donate and I can email you the labels i used if you like. (can donate the silver balls as well ) x0 -
