LOL!
Well I have had to give Molly to someone I know will also be able to look after her, that way OH cannot use her as an excuse for our relationship problems and also because if I do move in with Lou then I can't take a dog. I know it might sound weird but its really broken my heart. I put so much time and effort and love into that dog and in the space of a week two things I love have been taken away.
So yes I shall have to get over it but for tonight I am going to invest my soul in fish and chips and ben and jerrysMoney money money.

It is a very common quotation 'the more I see of men, the more I like my dog'.

Also, if your former dear heart has been particularly irritating, you may not be able to get any financial recompense, but you may be able to leave a piece of defrosting smoked haddock under the floor boards in the kitchen. Perhaps you would not go so far, but the thought of it may be enough to raise a smile.
It is hard when you have worked so hard to have everything pulled out from under you, but I do hope that you can take the chance to enjoy yourself now.
Also, some dog shelters need people to help out with exercising and socialising animals - you may be able to get some canine company there.Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -
put it down to experience and move on. Life's too short, and it's his loss anyway.:rotfl: The world is my lobster:rotfl:0

Just wanted to wish you all the best - think of it as his loss not your own. As for the table and anything that you have bought do as others have said, take it with you, sell it on ebay or return it for a refund (if you can).
If you are at home alone and you are handy with a needle and thread sew the linings of his suit sleeves up - they will look fine from the outside but when he shoves his arm in then it will come up short:rotfl: Also the tip about the fresh prawn, milk and smoked fish hidden somewhere (maybe behind the bath panel) will make you smile - feel a little less vengeful and will drive him mad when you've gone because he will be wondering where the stink is coming from:rotfl:
Move onwards and upwards. Think of this as a new beginning and don't ever go back no matter how much he pleads.
Sorry about your dog though - at least you will be able to visit her.
Good luck for the future.0 -
I feel for you, splitting up with someone absolutely blows, especially if you have had to give up your puppy dog as well

People have talked about flatshares... £350 pm will probably get you a room with all the bills included... try www.gumtree.com . Until then it sounds like you're doing some sofa surfing... Don't forget how little time it takes to stick the hoover round/do the washing up/buy a bunch of flowers for the person you are staying with... It'll go a long way
I understand all too much the pain that goes with splitting up with someone after investing both a lot of time, effort and sadly money into the relationship... Learn from it. You deserve better.
Consider yourself fortunate that it is him that is now lumbered with the full rent payment in his name without a nice chunk of money from you in it-this close to Christmas!
Best of luck getting things back on track kiddo
