Abbey is the debts in your signature yours or his.... if his drop em like he dropped you.

If they are yours then concentrate on getting them out of the way, as everyone has said you are young.

I was married at your age (wish i wasn't) all my friends were having fun and i wasn't.

Annoying at it seems that he gets the nice stuff then tells you to go, some men are like that. Don't worry he's get whats his one day.

As for you dust yourself down and get back on that dance floor, lots of loose men this time of year wanting a snog.

As suggested you'd be better off in a house share and a chance to get yourself financially stable.

Men can be weird creatures at the best of times, my ex dumped his gf Christmas eve and got back with her after the new year..why... so he didn't have to buy her a pressie, he used to go out Christmas eve and buy me any old tat ...so thoughtful yes i know.
Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?

For Jacks sake - you are 19 - not really an age to be moving in with someone a decade older. Live your life and move on and don't fall into any kind of temptation of going back to him.

Why not? that's ridiculous. I have friends who married at 21 and 25 years later are still very happy together. 19 is a perfectly good age to live with someone if you want to - she isn;t a child.

However, Op, you're not entitled to anything, sell the table, get a houseshare and move on.

  • if u only got the table - return it? Tell him if he wants it he can pay for it himself to save u the hassle of the return. Everything else, take it on the chin and think of it as a lesson learned for next time :)

Honestly, I would have to question myself being in a long term relationship with someone who had so much debt. It strikes me as irresponsible and immature to owe people so much at a young age.
My OH is a fairly low wage earn but has the ethos of buying what you can afford. In fact all my previous partners have a no/low debt outlook.

I have friends whose OH's have caused them so much trouble through their spending.

Of course the sea contains many fish. Whilst I'm not suggesting asking people for financial records when you meet them in a bar, I'd say that your debt has a correlation to your general attitude to life.
