I total agree with Miss Piggy here - job satisfaction is very important but not at the cost of getting into debt!
Today I am being rubbish! I forgot my charger for my phone and am planning on heading tesco's and buying some nice food for me and the BF tonight! However I didn't spend all weekend so I think that's alright!!
I'm going to pay £17 to my council tax at lunch as well and then get them to send me a review of all the charges the bailiffs made so I can see exactly what they're charging for!! And then see whether it's fair or not
Paid £2 to my CC
Had free croissant for breakfast and found some breakfast bars I'd brought for work for the rest of the week!!
And that's about it! Going to double check my BF likes my glasses and then order them tonight actually (£16!!!!!!!)
but other then that - I'm just getting rather excited about seeing him as it's been almost a week :jDebt Free since 2012Current Savings £1,400Current Mortgage £143,398.270 -
Hi guys, hope everyone is having a great week. I can't wait till this week is over and i can get back to normal. Although i am enjoying going to Edinburgh, which will be great, i have had to cancel and turn down so much work as a result!!

-I phoned back someone who had phoned my business phone and had a chat with them about treatments, they said they would phone me back as they were off to work but would book in later as they work shifts and need to know when they work, which is good for me!!
-I have been to college to do my learning, which i get paid for
-I popped to the post office to check if i could still use my stamps from 2006 as i have loads, she assured me they were fine to use, so may stick them on ebay
-Take pics of stamps
-List stamps on ebay
-Need to attend supervision tonight for counselling helpline
-Need to try and change thursday's shift to next Thursday as i am just too busy this week and want some availability for clients
-I have looked for mystery shops but found none that i want to do!
-I have continued using up old beauty products so that i have less and don't keep buying more, which is great as i have finished a bottle of perfume i have had for four years!! Plus my skin is lovely now!!

Just found out the information evening is Wednesday, not Friday. Thats a wee bit better. I need to think about something else!
andan - I only have the one bedroom but haven't started selling off my books and DVDs yet. I'm pretty sure the jewellers I used to work in would take me on a Saturday or Sunday as a second job though. I know that I can cut my spending down from where it is as well if this turns out to be something I really want to do.
I've been here before though...
About 3 or 4 months ago a job came up that was about the same wage as I'm on now but in the area I want to be in (well, similar anyway). I spent ages on my application to not even get an interview. Some of you might remember all that actually. I just don't want to get my hopes up again.:hello: - Proud to be dealing with my debts!:j DFW nerd No. 1011!
I'm back, and this time I mean business!

I remember you talking about the job that you wanted and its good to have a balance between being hopefull and not being over excited about it, however it is a difficult area to get into, so all you can do is apply and put yourself out there.
Go along with a balanced view and see what you get from it, will have everything crossed for you though as its a wonderful career choice.
People keep asking me why i want to be a counsellor when there are so few jobs out there, i tell them that just because there aren't many jobs doesn't mean there isn't one for me, with enough determination you will get there.:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Afternoon all, is also very cold here, but is a bright day for a change.

Checked online banking to make sure Mr.B is not sneaking out money!!
Found i have to buy two more presents for Christmas when sis had agreed not too, so i am checking which points i have to sort that out..would rather not have done!

Not much for me - sent home from work before lunchtime after being sick.
Apologies to anyone who walks past the BHS on Princes Street and sees the decoration of their tiles I made while waiting or the bus stop.
Doesn't anyone know how to stop being sick? I can't even drink water at the moment.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -

It is an apprenticeship as a sign language interpreter. Once fully qualified I'd be earning over £30K but it would be tight in the meantime.
I am going to an information evening on Friday about it. I can't concentrate at work because I keep mulling this all over in my head.
KT.
