Yes I know you do Dave, because you keep saying it. But you never seem to back your position up with any actual argument. You just trot out the same old meaningless platitudes.0 -

You're wrong, but you are right to highlight a weakness of mine. Most intelligent people on these forums wouldn't give you the time of day, and I shouldn't either, but I see people like you talking rubbish and I find it difficult not to confront. Maybe one day I will just decide to ignore you and let you spout all the nonsense you like, I suppose in the meantime I'm letting you know that I know you have no arguments to back up the things you say, that what you might fancy is a clever retort I know is not and can expose it as such.
But yes, I would rather use my posts to give and seek advice on consumer issues, so you may have a point, it's just that you're not someone in a position to make it.0 -

Well, I'm sure you all knew this would happen but I rang today to confirm Fridays repair and the part hasn't been delivered and may possibly be arriving on Monday so they may possibly repair on Tuesday.
I went in to speak to the manager who rang the repair centre and heard the lady tell him that truth be known they didn't know when it was going to arrive. I told him the whole saga as stated previously, calmly and very politely and didn't demand anything just told him the facts and he then said that it wasn't good enough and he's having me a brand new one delivered tomorrow and appologised. I went with everything written down thanks to advice from here. I told him that I felt 3 weeks and counting was not an adequate repair time for something 31 days old and that the lady from consumerdirect had given me a case number and to ring back on Friday should it not be resolved. The manager was also polite and understanding and g*d willing all will be sorted tomorrow.
Thank you all again for your help, advice and wisdom:T :T0
