Unbelieveably irrelevant and again completely showing your ignorance of the word 'compensation' with respect to its usage in a suppliers obligations to fix faulty goods.Brooker_Dave wrote: »

No, Dave, it is simply that the quote and thanks button are so close together, as you well know.
Your 'helpful' link about car insurance premiums is deliberately disingenuous I think.
I appriciate it blows your argument out of the water."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Hm, you do know, don't you Dave, that in order to 'blow an argument out of the water' you have to demonstrate why it's wrong, don't you? When you can show that type of intelligence then we might begin to take you more seriously.
And as for this: "Other that it showing how the compensation culture has driven prices up." Erm, how exactly? It has nothing to do with compensation culture.
And merely calling taxiphil 'a sore loser' is simply not sufficient to show that he is. Where's your argument? You are badly exposed here, not simply by being wrong, but by lacking the basic skills to make your case.
When you have acquired some basic debating skills, then you will be most welcome, and we won't even need to agree with you.0 -

If you are not happy with the service you are getting from the retailer why not contact the manufacturer directly?0

I presume you are winding me up? I write 4 paragraphs of reasoned, considered debate and you quote the first word 'Hm' then respond to that with yet another meaningless non-sequitur? You don't seem to know how to argue intelligently and, if that was a joke, it's not remotely funny. Humour is subjective of course, but while even a good joke may not please everyone, it will at least contain some wit, something you have yet to demonstrate.
The real reason this country is in a mess is that people like you are (or at least pretend to be) utterly incapable of intellectual enquiry on even the simplest of matters, resorting when challenged by anyone with a brain to cheap shots and smart-arsed remarks. If you are so convinced you're right then let's hear your arguments, because from where I'm sitting you don't appear to have any.
PS Marleyboy, I saw your above post just after posting this one. Yes, you're right, I should just leave it. But I'm not very good at 'just leaving it' - sometimes they need to be confronted with intelligent argument as it exposes their ignorance for what it is. But I do appreciate your advice and will consider your strategy in the future. At least he knows we're onto him, even if he doesn't care about it.0 -

Hi kaya, thank you, I spoke to them today - "they said it's not our problem" ring comet.
I also spoke to consumer direct too, the lady said that the issue is that it was 32 days old and not 28, if I have to wait past 5th Dec for a repair ring her back as then this would be past a resonable time.
Thank you all for your advice.0
