Johanne I am changing mine to an Open degree, have you looking into that?
Well actually I have been up the OU centre today, I am all decided, well apart from how much at once. I am going to do the Exploring Science one, but there is a one that has caught my eye http://www3.open.ac.uk/courses/bin/p12.dll?C01E243 I think I have what will be classed as 'personal experience' and I think it will look good when I go into teaching (intention is primary teaching) to have this sort of subject as something I have studied with all of the push towards inclusion in particular. Aswell as I think I will find it very interesting. What do you lot think?
I do need to decide if I want to take so much work on, but what stands out is the more points I do the quicker I can do my degree. I need to consider the money side too, have been keeping Tesco vouchers for it aswell.
DPs a little irritated the open option wasn't discussed when he went into other qualifications he had with them 2 years ago, from what has been said they don't think ANY of the study he's done with the OU will count towards his degree as his HNC will cancel them out due to overlap and he only needs one 60 point level 3 course to get his degree. He's really annoyed with that. Oh 120 points will give him an honours. See what comes back from Credit Transfer but that is what she's said. He might have wasted 2 years.
Housework, well I went out didn't I :rotfl: so it's no messier but no tidier either. I fell down the stairs just before we left, sciatia makes my legs go to sleep, I ended up laughing as I could feel myself goingDP was on the loo so the 'help I am going to fall', well just sounded silly, he said 'I can't do anything from here' back, oops, so was best DP drove. They gave us a pass to park straight outside the door, think she seen me struggling, which they forgot to date so have kept it for future visits
Going to S&S the bathroom and empty the DW before I dash down for DS2.
Back some point this evening, Beavers tonight, sure there is something else on too....
DPs Step Dad's uncle has passed away, I didn't know the guy and DP haddn't seen him for years, but been asked to goto the funeral, so I need to see if he's got something to wear that fits. One day I might be more organised...........

Must dash around and tidy up to make it look all presbyterian before DH comes home early. Just had a phone call from him and they have closed the place he's working (third time) because they have (again) found asbestos there. He will have to lose his "outer wear" he says (fleece and trousers) and put on a white paper biological hazard suit. Just as well that today is the day he took the car as he has an appointment with the doctor. I can just imagine him wearing that on the bus.0

Somethings just come up in conversation, this 'uncle' was single, no children, noone knows who his will is left to. Of course it won't be my partner because he's not a 'relative' as such and never seen as one, not interested in that personally, but DPs step Dad has been mentioned as a possible beneficiary by his mother and her sister......his 2 closest relatives. WIL (DPs mother) has just agreed a settlement for the divorce, it does make me wonder, if she will be a little upset if he's in the will. The bloke was a millionaire..........:rotfl: I'll laugh if he will benefit from this will because she's basically taking nearly everything from him because he's too soft to argue, if he inherits a lot, even if his mother does who is not in good health and will probably split it between him and his sister, she won't be entitled to a penny, shame huh! I remember her saying to DPs brother 'when uncle **** pops his clogs we'll all be rich' strange, it's as if he's waited for divorce settlement which was done last week. What goes around comes around! Can you tell I dislike that woman?
nikki try a straw, it's what I usually use. I hate that dribbling without knowing feeling.
DS2 collected, doesn't want to goto Beavers, won't tell me why so his Dad is trying to get it out of him what is wrong. I have to pay if he goes or not. If there is a problem, I'd rather know. His communication issues however make this a bit of a problem! One day I might be more organised...........
