Menolly - its a pity that you can't charge the big companies the same interest if they go over that the bank would charge you - DHs company always have the same problem at the end of the financial year - sts he's had to not pay himself for a couple of months to stop the cashflow drying up completely - its a good job he's good with his cash or we'd have been in the brown stuff a few times.
Crikey - just noticed the time - better get some slap on me mush and into my uniform - times a flying.........zoom............................I'd rather be watching CSI!0 -

Make sure you read the first post, but remember your home didn't get in a "mess" in one day, so it will not get better in one day. The rooms come round week on week, so don't try to do too much at once, baby steps!!!
And don't forget to stick a Christmas Tree on your post, so the BOSS knows you're new!
Hi, thanks!
How do I edit my post to add the Christmas tree?

Hi, ignore my previous post. It has just appeared next to the quote button. I am sure it wasn't there before?

Only been up about hour and a half. AF arrived last night after not visiting for 4 months and i feel awful as usual, sarahs teething is causing her problems too so we both been curled up bed in a mish mash of cushions and the quilt watching Cbeebies all morning
Really gutted.... i was going to change my degree with the OU, as im not enjoying the route i was going to take... i just doubled checked before applying for my new course and have found that unless i can finish my degree before 2010 (which i wont) then i cant do that degreeNo idea what im going to do.

Toottifrootti – Thank you. Doing up the house is mad; it only looks like we’ve done the kitchen and living room! The house was stuck in a time warp. We’ve done a lot of hidden stuff like heating and electrics (the wires were furry!). Have a fab time at your Aunts
AnW’sMum – “INSTALLING A HUSBAND” This made me laugh so much, … coz it’s all true!!:rotfl:
Froddington – Best wishes for all three pupils. X
Gryfon – ((Hugs)) I’m sure your DH knows you appreciate him. Just give him a big hug and some tea & biccies!:D
:grouphug: to all who would like/needs one. ( is it just me or does this symbol look dodgy!)

FInally caught up.... *phew*
I've done my first 'on a budget' shop this morning, I walked round Lidl doing a running total in my head - muttering like a loon £32.40, £32.80, £33.50 etc etc etc. I came in under budget at £58. So, I'm really pleased. It's a long haul though.... but if I admit to DH that I'm quite enjoying the challenge he'll only start being negative... men - contrary? - Never!!! So, my strategy is to be worried, and stressed about it when talking to my DH, (which in turn makes him very supportive of me) and report all my successes to you lot!! Hope that's ok!!
Gryfon Love the idea of the 15s. Hope the back doc is ok. For your DH... what about writing a haiku? My DH loves them... particularly after I explained what one was!! and he realised how much effort is required to write those 3 lines!!!
Ok, gotta run to friend's house for coffee... much cheaper than going out for lunch.... did I mention I'm on a budget!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Oh, and the other thing I've done today is to apply for a 0% for 16 months Virgin credit card, so I can balance transfer hideous rated CC to that. Did it online, and was accepted straightaway! woohoo! Someone remind me to cut up the card as soon as it arrives though please! :rolleyes:MMSSB Club Founder Member

No. I have a freak out every morning when I realise it's getting closer and I still don't know what to get DS!0
