I agree with everyone else as well pigpen. There are 6 of us here at the moment and it's not that hard just to keep on top of the major things, and if you need help ask!Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!
SPC2 #571 - trying to get as much as possible0 -
Managed to:
Wash up from breakfast
Load WM
tidy up living room
put laundry away
open windows upstairs
clean grate and put in compost
have lunch
Just digesting now before I walk to town, don't think it will be easy to park at lunchtime - I might be lazy and drive half way.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
two customers have JUST paid their August accounts and they are large companies, not little ones. Their September payments will be due in a little over a week and I can't get any confirmation from them that they will be bringing their payment schedules back in line with their terms. In the meantime, we're being chased for October payments - I just want to cry
. We are a small company and this sort of thing causes us real problems at the best of times, let alone in the current financial climate.
They do it because they are big companies - and they know that as a small company you have to just put up with it.
Right, must go and do something useful. It's so cold my hands are seizing up!0 -

I'm new to the site, but would love to join this challenge! :T
We moved to America when DH was transferred to a new job about two years ago. As a result, I'm a bit behind (it's currently only 7:22 am). So far, I've only washed up the breakfast dishes and thawed chicken breasts for several meals I'll prepare today.0 -
Got to go and collect some tiles, go to the bank and buy a 2009 diary for my filofax.
If anyone on here uses Franklin Covey day planners (US version of Filofax) I've got some excel spreadsheet files that you can customise and print out to make your own planner pages. They're the Classic (A5) size and if you've got a hole punch you can avoid Franklin's somewhat hefty planner prices.
I'm sure I've got some Monarch size too (but they're just the basic ones, I haven't customised them as I have the Classic size planner).
Just pm me your email address if you'd like the files.0 -
pigpen you need to rest so that you have enough energy to force/ encourage us all to do our flying.
I have decided that I am not doing kids rooms as they can do them themselves. I am staying in the kitchen/diner today. I want it to look like new.
lil_me I have/had two of those grabbers, I have not got the foggiest where they are! I usually use them to put washing in the machine etc.

This happened to us a few years ago. The last pay cheque of the year bounced - and kept bouncing. Eventually he had to get the money in cash in the new year. I wouldn't mind but he was working for my uncle at the time
Right I REALLY must go and do something useful.
Welcome newbies.
Pigpen - thanks for the updated card list. Must get started on writing them out. I don't want to start sending them until nearer Christmas though.0
