Hi guys

Done nothing! Been to work and 'flown' in their houses but done nada in here, I'm in my 'post AF visit can't be assed mood' it'll probs last a week it usually does *sigh* There's no food in the house either so I'll have to force myself to go and get some *sigh* and then I'll have to cook it *double sigh*
Littleys at dancing class, teenies upstairs with his mates and I'm trying to keep warm lol I am aware that if I actually did something and not just loll about I'd warm up but can't be bothered...
summermoon I'm going to pm you in a minute....keep a look-out.0 -
Mudbath are you 40 on the 9th December?
Yes I am...are you forty next year? Or this? Or not for years:rotfl: ? Can you tell my brain cells have gone. Life begins at 40 + 3 months (recovery from op!) - at least it really will begin then.
Spotty dotty puppy is not happy. She's not stopped crying since the op yesterday. She's got extra painkillers and a sedative and she's just crying - poor thing.
No flying done as didn't sleep last night due to stomach bug. On the plus side it gave me an excuse to do puppy cuddles all day!
Hugs to everyone xx0 -
Right, better pull myself round and go to Asda.
Poor you, and poor Poppy mudbath x0 -

SummerMooon...BTW one year I raided one of the local charity shops for like new" presents for the children. They never noticed!Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!
SPC2 #571 - trying to get as much as possible0 -
Lil-me - I like the poetic justice of the step-uncle - even though his passing is sad, the timing appears to be brilliant!
Well I managed a full day at work but I'm really pooped. Got home to a real surprise DiL, bless her, has been cleaning all day. My kitchen, hallway and front room sparkle. Don't know what came over her but I'm not complaining!
Also had an email that I had to hum and hah over. Remember last month I gave a talk to a 'hostile audience'? Well, I've been asked to do the same talk to a different, bigger, and potentially even more hostile audience one evening next week. I've emailed the chairman back in the end and asked if he can assure me that any hostility will be be controlled that I'll do it.
Right, off to root around in the freezer for SOMETHING for dinner before I fall over. (Just had a half a glass of wine and it's gone straight to my head! - First booze for days)I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

We got that nasty computer virus last night, thanks for the heads up Menolly, is a real nasty one!The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
((hugs for poorly spotty pooch)) has she been in to 'be done' ? I remember it took Holly about 2 days to recover from hers, she didn't have extra pain relief or anything however. She cried loads too.
Summermoon, you're getting there lol, I've always said with my boys it's usually about getting the main THING they want, I am ranting at a friend at the mo who's spent £30 on each of them so far and wants to spend more, like I said they won't notice! She's got them one of the main things they want (this is another key, make sure relatives get them what they do want, then it's covered, argos numbers tend to work or shopping with them!) nothing else will probably matter to them. I also raid charity shops/ebay this is mainly because DS1 tends to get into stuff like Robot Wars, you couldn't buy anything new, it hasn't been out for years! DPs bro was skint last year, he'll be the same this year after being laid off, got them a book each, but knows what makes them tick because he spends time with them, DS1 never put down the book he got him all Xmas day, well he did to unwrap stuff then picked it back up, DPs bro was thrilled! One day I might be more organised...........
