My family dont really get much anyway, Its the kids that I am worried about. They are getting so excited, dont want them to be disappointed Christmas morning.
Doesnt bother me in the least, I only celebrate christmas for the kids. I celebrate Yule on 21 december.

He's been on the phone to them, they say there is nothing they can do and that the charges cant be taken off. Trouble is he gets himself worked up and stressed when dealing with these people he ends up mumbling and confusing his words and stuff, which frustrates him even more and he ends up hanging up...... will get him to ring again tomorrow when he's calmed down a bit.

Love him to bits but he's such a fuss pot lol

Anyhoo, really need to stop worrying, It'll all be alright in the end..... it always is.
Someone give me a slap plz!!

Summermoon if you are better on the phone, get him to ring and give them permission to discuss it with you, my DP has to do that as he can't deal with those sorts of things either.

**slaps** with wet kipper! Now go ring family and tell them 'sorry no presents from us this year it's just tough'. I did this with a friend, but being nicer, she said she's pleased I have said that as she can't afford to buy for us really either. Peace all round. Have a long hard think, what things matter to the kids the most, for mine (oldest) he wants a 'World War 1 & 2 book' ok it was £19.99 but I know if I just got him that alone, he'd be happy. Your boys are only little thankfully. My friend has promised her kids a summer spending spree as her DP is off following surgery, they have been told they will get £100 each in July to spend and a small gift on Xmas day which they are more than happy with. I'll be honest with what my boys get from other people, if I got them nothing I doubt they would notice. When they were babies I got them one present each, wasn't until they were about 5/6 it was worth me bothering with more.
One day I might be more organised...........

I know what your saying lil_me. I should really focus on what they really want and not just on getting them piles and piles of 'stuff'.
Littlest one loves playing horsy with my kitchen brush, so am getting him a hobbyhorse.
DS1 wants everything he sees on the TV, so I need to try and work out what he really wants.

And they will get stuff from aunties, grandparents etc on both sides.
    They'll have plenty.
