johanne...I'm still feeding at 19 months with lots of teeth! If she bites I say ow fairly loudly and she lets go but then I'll stop feeding. She only does it when she's finished!Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Congratulations to pumpkin on your first tooth!:T
And to soappie on the recognition for what you do!!:T
DS1 is cooking bread rolls - they smell delicious! Apparently we're having homemade burgers and buns tonight. He's going to be a very well trained husband by the time I've finished with him. The fly-lady training is ongoing - but he's better at cooking than cleaning! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

I've just found out we've won an 'Outstanding Contribution To Tourism' award from the local council! No - no money, just a certificate - but it's great that what we've done over the last 14 odd years has finally been publicly appreciated and acknowledged!
Congrats Soappie, you deserve it after all the hard work you were putting in at the time... :T :T :T :TSarahShattered wrote: »Thanks guys, you keeping making me laugh so much about this. Hugs for your DD G&B - she's having quite a time lately isn't she (and you too...) hope she feels better soon :APumpkin has her first tooth!!!!
Aaaah, bless - I remember those jaggy little teeth poking through... so cute as they smile..No flying to report, sorry I have let the side down.
What side have you let down? Certainly not us... You need to sort your life and daughter out above all else, including housework (that I am sure will be there waiting for you when you get a chance) and so will we...
I have had my share of moans and upsets on here as have others - it is a lovely, wonderful bunch of ladies on here (and a couple of gents) who help and support each other when it is needed - you need to spend your time sorting yourself out and just know that we are here for you if you need us... :A*sinks down and gives up*:o
Hugs Triker - you have been having a bit of a time of it of late haven't you - I hope you are able to recharge your batteries this weekend and get some semblance of your life in order - take up Pigpens offer and get yourself out for some 'me' time - you sound like you need it, then get the 'troops' in order and boss them about all weekend to get the house sorted (that ALWAYS works for me, a good bit of bossing around!:D ) Huggs to you hun x :ALBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

She's only just got to over 9kg :rotfl: Most of her clothes are 9-12mths and 12-18mth [:D] She has a few summer dresses that she was given for her age over summer and never actually got to wear them because they swamp her. We've bought her one though and she looks dinky in it. Unfortunately it only fits on the front seat in our old car which is a pain. Can't even put it on the side at the back as the buckles come too high. But it had to be one that can be used with a lapbelt on the big car for when we go away.
Well I've done nothing this afternoon. Was feeling funny when we were out today so I went to bed when we came home and I've only got up about 20 minutes agoSupposed to be going out this evening to the pub and before that to the NCT suitcase sale.
Need energy! Anyway going to see if I can put the dishwasher on at least, and I just hear a car so Mr G and the rabble are back!Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Just had a nice bacon sandwich for lunch, and tested out the smoke alarm at the same time!SarahShattered wrote: »Just back from Woolies!!! Very sad, and nostalgic. Thanks guys, you keeping making me laugh so much about this. It's keeping my chin up. I'm really split on it all... one half of me loves the challenge, and the other half of me wants to move back to Denial. It's such a warm and cosy place to live, and it's got a lovely river.
However, I've got more than enough this week to have a takeaway for tea! :j
Oh you on a budget? and is the budget still on despite the chrissy shopping SS?
What takeout you having?Home early, DD 1 poorly and rang me to say she had been sick all over her bedding.*sinks down and gives up*:oExtras - I am making a bag for morsbags - and joining in the guerrilla bagging event tomorrow (another thing I got into through this site!) - this first necessitates a trip down to the fabric shop to rummage in the remnants bin............will probably hoover at 11pm!
Please explain...I've just found out we've won an 'Outstanding Contribution To Tourism' award from the local council! No - no money, just a certificate - but it's great that what we've done over the last 14 odd years has finally been publicly appreciated and acknowledged!
Well done you all!no flying again... but wanted to come share....
Pumpkin has her first tooth!!!!:j :j :j
its been just under the skin for weeks but finally today its broke through!!!:D
Might be time to reassess the fact im still breastfeeding though....
It could start getting painful  :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Thanks for all the advice re DD
Have found effervescent soluble paracetamol (they are HUGE) and dissolve completely and she has had one (500mg we'll see how she does). She has announced her intention not to go to school on Monday and has been told she IS going. Mind you she has been greatly cheered up by a visit to Peacocks with a 40% staff event voucher I was given and now has slippers which cost £1.80 as I won't let her have the slippers intended for an xmas gift yet, new socks, new pjs and a bomber jacket. I have new jumpers...I work in a cold Victorian building...
Zoey (((hugs)) you know where we are if you want to come and let off steam... well done for telling teacher. Even if DD isn't directly involved there will be stress at home she may pick up on...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
