I don't remember Rentagran but I do remember Supergran and Rentaghost...
Billy Connolly sang the Supergran theme tune (I think but I could be wrong...) and she WAS a little scottish granny.
Lol it was Supergran not Rent a Gran :o:o:o:o:o:o

  •     Have just been on the phone since 4.45pm until 5.30pm trying to arrange a redelivery of my phone for tomorrow, only to be told that they can't do it...
If they had told me that in the first place, fine, but to keep me on the phone for 1 3/4 hours....................

still, glass half full moment, it did give me chance to catch up on the thread from last night...;)

No flying for me today - didn't get home until 2.30 then straight to the clinic with DS to see the child psych - they had a chat, literally, just a quick chat, asked him if he was on drugs, did he smoke or drink (he's 15 and if I catch him with any of those his life won't be worth living... Only I'm allowed to do those! :p ) and said everything is OK (it's not) he can continue on the tablets and they would see him again in 9 months... total waste of time and parking fee...

Am going to go to Lakeside now to collect my phone that was chewed by the dogs, then I am going to go to sleep I think, as I am bushed... must fly tomorrow as going out with my Sis on Sunday (she lives over in Kent) to get my lovely mummy her pressie...

Take care all, hugs to everyone just coz I feel in a huggy mood (must have had some of those mood enhancers that I told DS not to take... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: )

Pigpen shame that they are 2-3 my monster has moved into 3-4 and she is 5 lol.

Thanks peeps for the kind words, I have just nipped on while my tea is settling in my belly helped along by minto's.

I managed to make a wicked spag bol in the slow cooker, only I can't eat it. So I have frozen my portion and will eat it when I am better. My dad scoffed his portion down and said it was very nice. Cheeky me had put a tin of tomatoe soup in it and he hates soup lol. Zoey 1 Dad 0 double lol.

Dusty I hope they settle soon, my only experience with introducing new animals is dogs and they got over it within a week
serena, boddy too actually. Just a thought I remember thinking when I seen digital photo frames, the ones you can put loads of images on that it scrolls through, that my Great Grandma who was in a home towards the end of her 90+years would have loved, she didn't have the space for every photo she would have loved to display or room for albums so it would have been perfect. What about a manicure or facial?
Penny well done on todays achievements, hope you have a lovely weekend
Pigpen your box is full as usual :p got you one, will post tomorrow or Monday
SarahS have you thought of trying a farm for eggs, I get mine from a farm about 5 miles from here, I pay £3.25 for 30 free range eggs.
PF no I wasn't specifically saying that, but I was only 5/6 when your DD was born :p One thought has your DD considered changing colleges/schools?
Michelle thanks for the Boots info, I think there is a 1500 extra points this weekend too
g&b hope little one is better, have you contacted the consultant just incase with the rods? Sounds like it's not something worth taking a chance over.
soappie WELL DONE!!! Thanks for reminding me, I am sure last year I bought a Mr S finest type pudding because it had 2009 date on, I don't think we ate it, will have to check. Know what you mean about prices, some have rocketed! Passatta (I have plenty but looked) in Asda was 39p. I did notice however (and bought some) Lurpak is £1 in Asda which IIRC you like
ZLS hope you get sorted soon.
Johanne aww bless her, be careful putting your fingers in there now!
LG try www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk if you have tried the more obvious checking for a blockage etc
Orkneystar congrats on the new washer

ARGH! Right, sick now, things were going oh so well and now my main laptop and my main PC are on the blink. Laptop I have now been told will be £240 to repair (ish) so may aswell get a new one. PCs unknown so far, me and DP will have a look at it first, looks like the power supply definately gone if not more. Main problem is my research project so far is only on that PC! ARGH!!! Why both go off on the same day just to annoy me? Dug the old faithful laptop out which is 5 years old (other one was 18 months old) to use for now. I have my mini one aswell. It's just really annoying. Going to go through emails tonight and see if I have the info saved on there that I got some of the research from. This was why I haven't been back on today as the laptop went flat so I tried the PC and it wouldn't switch on!

Rants aside :o Asda done, will be back with my receipt later. Todays meeting (about something else) went much better, one I actually enjoyed attending unlike yesterday which just left me with bad feeling.

Dinner I needed veg and have treated myself to a woopsie of med roasted veg tray, likely much cheaper as I would need all the seperate veg, allows me to have things I wouldn't normally make the effort of buying and it was reduced to 35p, nomnomnom having that with some oven baked fish and it's heavenly :o small pleasures eh! DP out all weekend, helping them tomorrow set up then racing Sunday so looks like it's me and the boys. He didn't take DS to feed the ducks, said DS changed his mind, likely DP was too busy. Will pop down there tomorrow after I make more bread as that loaf has nearly gone, DS2 spotted it as soon as he walked in. For a change the fastbake recipe actually came out VERY well.

Right, well dinners nearly finished now, will finish that then supervise kids picking what they would like to put on the Santa list for Grandma/Grandad to look for, then will find my receipt and go through spending.
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
