Hi everyone thanks for your kind words they have helped a lot.

Feel a bit better now but burst out crying trying to tell Sineads teacher about what is going on. I wanted to give them a heads up that things could get a little rocky over the next coming week.

I am going to try and fly over the weekend as I want to catch up on cleaning.

On a plus side yesterday I did start the kitchen and I put the waher on a clean wash. I have found that if there is a dried on stain on the worktop, sprinkle barcad of sodo onto it then add vinegar and the fizz hel.ps lift it

Thanks guys, you keeping making me laugh so much about this. It's keeping my chin up. I'm really split on it all... one half of me loves the challenge, and the other half of me wants to move back to Denial. It's such a warm and cosy place to live, and it's got a lovely river. :D

However, I've got more than enough this week to have a takeaway for tea! :j

    congratulations to Pumpkin!!

As for BF.. her tongue will cover the bottom teeth when she feeds so as long as she is not messing about it will be fine... it is the top ones that rub a bit.

I breastfed DS until 12/13 months, by which he had 4 teeth. He only nipped a couple of times, so don't let it put you off. This said, breastfeeding, although worthwhile for you both, is an energy drain on you, so stop if you feel ready.

  • Hi everyone

Well no flying at all here today, sorry, BUT I have been to visit DS who is away at uni, 90 mile round trip to say 'Hi' but totally worth it.
I took him a food parcel as you do, & he said 'Mum, I do go shoping you know' Bless I am very proud of the way he has adapted to student life.

Congratulations to Pumpkin on your new tooth

Will go & whizz round now & see what I can get done before DH gets home.

    Hugs to all xx

DS's granny (my mum) lives 300 miles away and his other granny died before me and DH got married (a few weeks before!) so I'd love to rent one lol! We have surrogate grannies/aunties, but we miss the real one too! Does anyone remember the tv show 'rent a gran' ?, it was maybe only a Scottish thing
    xx
I don't remember Rentagran but I do remember Supergran and Rentaghost...
Billy Connolly sang the Supergran theme tune (I think but I could be wrong...) and she WAS a little scottish granny.
