I just nipped in boots for some omega tablets fo the boys and I discovered 8 bottles reduced to £1.60.. on 3-4-2.. so of course I bought them all and a reduced bottle of cod slither oil for me... Bargainous!!

Which tabs do you recommend Pigpen - my DS's flappy/hissy fits are getting worse so it can't help to try them!

Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

    I get these

the sanatogen and haliborange have loads of junk in them and set mine off something alarming so we avoid those but these are great. They do take a few weeks to build up in the system and start working but for DS3 the difference is VERY noticable

Likklegibbon Have you pushed the water collector in right?

Yup, have tried that and I can't see any obvious blockages either - don't really want to call out an engineer - it would probably be cheaper to buy a new one in the sales if I do without for a few weeks :( - water doesn't appear to have damaged the floor at least

  • I've had a good day today :j Cleaned 2 sets of windows (and even the children noticed when they came home :p ). I've made apple and parsnip soup for lunch tomorrow (I cooked the peelings in the Rayburn, and the chooks will enjoy them :j ). I've done lots of paperwork and a general tidy round. The children are making us all a hot drink, so I'm going to put a match to the fire and cut into the cake

DH is on his way home from Stockholm for a couple of days, so he may treat us to a take out :T :D

Have a great evening, Penny. x

  • Re: new washing machines - I saw somewhere that if the old machine is completely conked out, you can nick the glass front thingie and use as a salad bowl - how OS is that?

Have just got home and having five minutes and a cuppa.

Went to the community event and it was interesting. Came away with a shed alarm, a personal alarm and pen for marking equipment in the house. Have also expressed interest in a neighbourhood watch scheme for here.

Mum was fine and I felt like a little girl again when she asked where my scarf and gloves were. The home has something on every day for them in December. Just hoping Im off when its the Thorntons morning.

Got a few more xmas presents. A neck warmer for GS from the outdoor shop for £3.99. Plus a few more bits for GGDs.

Have been up in the spare room and laid all pressies out in piles to see what I had. GSs just about finished and so is both GGDs.

Serena I get mum some really nice hand cream. She loves having her hands done and its a enjoyable time for us both. I understand what you are saying about missing her and it is hard. I often think of the woman mum was. Like yours always active and involved in things.

    ZLS1984 Big hugs.

Right its flying time and I think I better put the heating on. Just going to do level one and give the living room a good clean next week when Im on hol.

Oooooh, I'm dead chuffed! Remember my involvement in the summer with Air Festival, street collections etc. etc. etc.? Well, there's 8 of us volunteers that have been involved with air displays over the last few years as a little enthusiast group. We were very involved with the organisation of Air Festival.

I've just found out we've won an 'Outstanding Contribution To Tourism' award from the local council! No - no money, just a certificate - but it's great that what we've done over the last 14 odd years has finally been publicly appreciated and acknowledged!

  • Haven't done much flying this week, but dropped something on the bathroom floor earlier and realised I have 'dustbunnies' so that must be done.
    Will join you, hollyh
OK dustbunnies dealt with and, since I had the vacuum out, did through downstairs. Plus tidied the top shelf in hall cupboard.

    Hi,

I've spent the last 20 mins trying to get online:mad: .

    In my HHC i

    Made beds
    Collected laundry
    wm & td x 1
Cleaned out & damp dusted fireplace
Refilled wood bag & coal bucket
    Lit the fire

Ds2 has woken up, i'm quite glad actually as i hate waking him he's like a bear with a sore head if he gets woken up. ( can't imagine who he gets it from:rolleyes: )

Ds1 is in my bad books, he's opened and eaten half of the mini box of celebrations i'd bought to go in DsD's hamper:mad:   . No pocket money this week i think.

I've still got loads to do, my house is a tip but i doubt i'll manage much more tonight. I'll have to play catch up this weekend which i hate doing but i didn't catch up last week and it's showing.:o

    Well done Soappie:j .
