  • Just back from Woolies!!! Very sad, and nostalgic. I can't believe it could ever close!!! I'm hoping for a buyer. The staff looked really sad... and I guess it must be dreadful for them... facing redundancy. Terrible at any time, but awful at Christmas.

It almost stopped me being pleased at picking up some bargain pressies for the children.... almost! :D

Have done very little since except fold and put away clean clothes, reload WM.

Hubby home and came in through the door singing christmas songs. What have i done to him.:rotfl:

MIL has been feeling as if her hip is clicking (she had both hips replaced a few years ago, with one poping out last year) so fingers crossed all will be ok.

ZLS hope things get better soon.
    kazwookie thats a brillant idea.

Right better go again, hubby is demanding my help.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

i really should be finishing off the list...should not the same as actually doing it, who's got my get up and go?, or any spare?
    ooooohhh another medal!!!
  • Zoey...hope things get better for you soon. Feel free to come back for a chat/moral support if you need to...don't worry that you're not flying much. Do what you have to do for your little one.

I've unfortunately got no excuse for not flying much this week. Think I'll clean the bathroom tonight and do the lounge tomorrow.

Think I'll have a quick read of the thread before the school run.
  • !!!!!! - I've just gone into the laundry room to take the towels from out of the dryer and the blasted thing has leaked all over the laminate floor - anyone on here know why its done this? The condenser unit is clean and the water collecting thingie is virtually empty - it did this last week but I can't see why  - its less than 3 years old and if I use it once a week that's all - oh poop, will have to hang up the soggy towels now as they're not dry

Anyone with any ideas, gratefully received

    Off to mop up............................
