do you think, they think something dodgy is going on because alot of people have applied recently for the Flybe card  ?
• No marker, just an "unclassified" search. I still think it's a standard check!

I do hope so ... interestingly, my unclassified search was only on my current address as well ... didnt show any searches at my previous addresses.

After reading that thread on the consumer action groups...thanks Yorkshire Bred, I am sending off my SAR tomorrow, I will take these b@stards to the high courts if I have to, who do they think they are? Guilty till proven innocent...don't think so, they operate on paranoia rather than fact, you could have a model credit rating yet still be refused financial facilities because of this secret database, I don't have all of the pre-requisites for obtaining MY data, no passport...never held one, no driven license...don't drive, so they are going to have to work hard to get my data for me, or the next step will be the information commissioner and if that fails...see them in court, oh I am so looking forward to a fight with HUNTER.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

It was a 4.

Im furious because I'm the victim here... my credit file is wrecked because of a wrongly placed marker. I dont even know who's done it. Ok, they are right, yes it's fraud, but if they are doing it because they think everyone who is declined is dodgy then that's surely wrong!

Apologies if anyone thinks Im scaremongering, but I really dont want anyone to end up in the same situation as me and you can nip it in the bud now before it goes any further!!!!

Good for you. Seriously make sure you do take these b*stards to court if you have to. This Big Brother stuff is getting out of control and they don't even seem to be held accountable to anyone

I was accepted for the flybe card and i have been using it,when i checked my equifax yesterday i had the same search but no cifas.
• My other half applied for the Flybe card - last night we had a alert from Equifax saying the same - unrecordered search - fraud. Strange , we will have to see how it goes , last thing she needs is a cifas marker!

Just to say her application was declined anyway and this was around four weeks ago - so strange how this pops up now.

My application was accepted so I will mointor my file...
• Thanks to 'and306' and 'londonuk2008' .. interesting that Sygma have also completed a search on those who have been accepted ... and mostly, all in the last couple of days ...
