Id personally call up and speak to the manager, failing that supervisor and as long as u have the persons name u spoke to at MO id complain and say u were lied to with regards to the dispatch of ur fone and that ul cancel, if they r apologetic id accept their apologies but only if they sent it to u by courier the very next day, or just cancel! hth:eek:FunkyFeet:eek:Elite 5:2 #190 -
I finally got an email with an apology and said that my fone will be with me b4 1pm today and gave me the special delivery ref number. Could I suggest that you do a belt n braces job, Maniac, by emailing customer services within the first 14 days. Your email should detail what YOU believe is required of YOU for the 6-month AND 12-month cashback payments; and what the MOBILE OUTLET is required to do when you comply.
Specify that you need a response WITHIN 14 DAYS, otherwise you'll return the phone.
Oh - and watch out for the Month 11 and Month 12 bills having to be sent off separately.0 -
you could have knocked me down with a feather this morning, when i opened post from m.o to find 2 cheques for £180, for me and oh. No hassle, no dispatch note games. Just got to wait for them to clear! I would however say that mbamick was extremely generous spirited in giving me full advice by pm on likely eventualities. Thanks for that. I'm sure we have more potential tricks to come at months eleven and twelve, so I'll be watching these boards closely, and also going with a more maistream company next year.
Anyway, at least you know there is hope.0 -
I had my contract with MO in Jan and sent the cash back claim in June (post 6 months) which was rejected stating that the 1st bill (Jan) was a copy and not the original. The bill was in black and white and did not have a '3' logo- so they thought it was a copy and rejected the cliam- I told them that I have only sent them what I received from '3'- I don't control how '3' issues their Invoices----I got the '3' Manager to confirm with MO on a conference call (me, 3 manager and MO) that the bill I have submitted was the one they issued- still...MO has refused the cash back---then a Customer service advisor with MO asked me that if I get '3' to send the bill (which is in colour and with a logo) they will accept the claim...I did that , got a fresh bill from '3' for the 1st month and sent them....its been around 3 weeks and I have not heard from them. When I called them today, they said that it takes upto 28 days to reply and I should hear sthg next week....I am skeptical that they will refuse with some other nonsense....Any advise on what I should do would be apprecaited.0

First of all ring them up and double check if they have recieved it or not. If it was me i would send via special so you deffo know if they have recieved it or not!"He's a maniac, maniac that's for sure,

Just got their email back saying that they have recieved my letter..

I'd just like to add that I recieved my 6th month cashback (hand written cheque) from mobile-outlet, albeit 10 days late and after 3 emails.
It was quite a releif when I opened the enevelope with the cheque, as I was beginning to think I wouldn't see any cashback.
I've got months 11 and 12 to look forward to. I have the 'old' T&C's should I follow them or mobile outlet's new T&C's, or are they only applicable to newer customers?0
