  • I doubt it will make any difference. The fact that it is incorrectly titled does not change the fact that it is the seventh bill.

Unfortunately, it would appear that O2 have wrongly numbered my bill number 7 as number 8, so this means that I will be sending the mobile outlet bills 5, 6 and 8. I have a horrible feeling that the mobile outlet will use this as an excuse to get out of paying my claim!!!!!!
It's O2 CPW and not O2 who have wrongly numbered your bills. The same issue arose at the end of last year. Take a look at this thread.

It's an ideal excuse for TMO to refuse the cashback claim so you will need to fight your corner. As Moyo says, it's still the 7th bill even if it has been incorrectly numbered.

You're wasting our time again Cobra, but...

My point, if you would read it properly before trying to answer it and mispresenting it, was not "that if you fail to meet the conditions of the agreement that somehow you should still be entitled to your cashback."

I have never (unlike some) suggested that.

What I pointed out was the double-standards in the viewpoint that when a company enforces, rigourously and to the letter, every requirement it makes of those filing claims for cashback it is then perfectly and reasonably entitled to renege itself on those very same Terms & Conditions.

You did say it - even though you were making an opposing point. You insult our intelligences trying to make out that you didn't.
You are, without question, entitled to your own opinion, however wierd, but when you air it in a thread that conspicuously and comprehensively disproves the very thing that you are arguing you should not complain when this is pointed out to you.

I have more mature and meaningful conversations with my 4 year old. Read the thread and work out the facts for yourself, don't just come back at me with insults, it gets us no-where. This dialogue between us belongs in PM, that's what the function is for. It benefits no one. MSE is severely 'under moderated' or we would have been dealt with already.

Clearly Mar< is worthy of burning, I can't think of any reason that 'Mark' would already be in use; it's hardly a common name is it? Little did he know though that we have a secret weapon and can search for all his posts.

Is this sarcasm? I can't believe anyone would be so stupid to be drawn into a witch-hunt - how low we have stooped.

Apologies to other readers of this thread for this nonsense.

    (Sigh)

FACT: I have never suggested "that if you fail to meet the conditions of the agreement that somehow you should still be entitled to your cashback."

You will not (and cannot) find any statement of mine to that effect.

My committed and (now) repeatedly expressed stance is that BOTH parties to a contract should honour it.

Now go away, read a nice bedtime story to your four-year-old and leave the rest of us in peace to discuss constructively how best to obtain our cashbacks when they aren't forthcoming from The Mobile Outlet.

Hello, hope this doesnt come across as spamming but have found what overall appears to be a cracking deal on a phone. After my experience with TMO have looked very hard and deep to see if another cashback deal was for me and came up with a SE W810 on O2 with 250 mins and 100 txts for £30 per month. Cashback of £270 leaving £90 costs. Go through Quidco and get a further £30 ish totalling £60 overall. Ordered from E2 save via Quidco on wed last week and arrived fri am .Phone was brill but no headfone and mem card as it was a clearance phone but cheap enough to buy off ebay. All documentation was checked and present and even gives a printed sheet showing which bills to send and when. All in all what appears to be a professional company. Sorry if this goes against forum rules but will understand if removed with apologies. How i see it is that if i can have a moan - then i can also spread note of good service too! Good Day to All

Final update from me - I stil haven't received an email I sent to TMO on 27th Dec. I did PM TMO via this site, and received a reply on 12th Jan saying that they had requested my paperwork from the cashback claims department and they would look into it once they had my file.....and guess what.......I haven't heard anything since. I give up. They couldn't even confirm that they'd messed up my contract with 3, even though I had proof that I had purchased a 12 month contract - 3 said I was signed up for 18 months.

    So unprofessional.

Ah sorry grayme-m - I had one of those moments where it seemed the whole world had gone mad - people claiming they hadn't said things they blatantly did in black and white for all to see, for example.

Sincere apologies! - phew - it feels like i'm speaking with a human being again!
