Answer me something Kimberley, are you talking about the cat in the picture or the bengal cross?? Because I still cant believe why you dont think the bengal in the picture is a bengal. I read, from tigerlily,. that it is a picture of the x breeds father, therefore he MUST be a bengal in the picture. Im NOT talking about a moggy crossed with a bengal being a full bengal, iM TALKING ABOUT THE CAT IN THE PICTURE, AS IT READS THAT THE PICTURE IS OF THE X BREEDS FATHER.

I was refering to the cross, the kittens of the cat in the picture. I got confused in my frustrations that people breed their pedigree Bengals with moggies and pass the kittens off as Bengals when they clearly are not. I'm also upset because my new kittens has been stolen so I apologise, I just got confused and should have read the topic more clearly. It's the cross kittens that are not Bengals.

Surely, in order to be a bengal cross, there MUST be a bengal involved???????????

Belive me there are a hell of a lot of bengals that look like that, yes, some look like yours, indeed 3 of mine are even more typey than that, and cost thousands, but please dont insult my intelligence, I have had bengals, form when they had never even been heard of, let alone from when they became a diluted gene pool, and a fashion accessory and please dont think you are the only authority on this!!

Of course two different breeds crossed do not amount to a purebreed, but accept there are full bengals that look like this picture.

What I was asking, is if people believed him to be a Bengal. Just because the Owner says he is, doesn't mean he is. I didn't think either parent looked much like they were supposed to be (According to the Owner one Bengal & one BSH) & some people could be out there trying to say the parents are pedigrees but they might be Moggies. The kitten is stated as being a Bengal cross, however, I could post a pic of my Moggie & say this is a BSH her kittens therefore are BSH x, but that doesn't mean she is a BSH just because I say so.

I was wary especially of the Mum being what the Owner says she is, and to me the Dad didn't look full Bengal, he looked to be at best half, making him a Moggy. That's why I came here because alot of people either have Bengals or knowledge of the breed, also we have Vets, and they might've known right off if he was or not.

Everyone has been asked & has given their opinions, we know nobody knows for sure but the Owner, but opinions count for alot, if 90% say no way it's not worth the risk! Kimberley has a Bengal & has been helping me by giving her opinion, I respect yours too, but please read my OP correctly first (Where I say he's supposed to be a Bengal, do others think he is) & please don't attack others for their opinions!

I don't think the cat in the picture is a full Bengal either Tigerlilly, but you don't know really. Certainly though cross kittens are NOT Bengals, so many people sell them as though.

My little Bengal went missing last week, I can't say much because she is on so many online cat lost sites I don't want people on here to figure out who I am and where I live. I was going to Chip her when she was going to be spayed at 16 weeks, so no, I doubt if I will get her back. I've put up a high reward though, so it may tempt someone who has her so close to Xmas.

Aww so sad, if you live close to me (Leicester) or even if you don't, let me know if you want me to contact Vets etc round here, ya never know where they can end up. I know one woman who had a litter of Pups stolen & she had the whole country looking & they appeared I think in Wales!

Molly is a "blue & white bi-colour exotic long hair":rotfl:
Shes nearly 6 months old & had her tubes tied today.

They bred exotics from persians, to get flat faces with short hair & persian personalities.

BUT every now & then you get a throw back, which means the exotic short hairs have long haired kittens. Thats what it says on the GCCF cert, but really they are just like normal persians, rather than their short haired litter mates who are short haired persians.

The one below is a colourpoint exotic short hair & her kitten will will be a seal point exotic (fingers are crossed about hair length, will he or won't he be short or long).
