Hi,
I applied for one of the HSBC "Green" current accounts last Wednesday.
I called them yesterday as i hadnt heard anything and they said a welcome pack and a request for a copy of my signature had been sent out.
Can anyone tell me if that means i have been accepted? Or what happens? Could i still be rejected?
Thanks

Thanks Shelf Stacker.
One more question i promise.........what agency do they search?0 -
HSBC use ExperianLoan-£3600 only 24 months of payments to go!!!
All debt consolodated and cards destroyed!!
As D'Ream would sing 'Things.....can only get better'!!!0 -
Thanks for that.
I cant see that i have been accepted yet then, as there is nothing on my credit file.0 -
I take that back, there was a search on the 20th by HSBC.
Will be very surprised if i have been accepted, although people seem to think i have been.0 -
A welcome pack = acceptance.0

If so, I'm going to get a complex because they gave me a Maestro recently!0 -
I work for Hsbc, if you've been given a welcome pack, it's more than likely you have been accepted. however they may need you to produce I.D at a local branch before they can open the account.
we don't have visa at hsbc, we have solo and maestro. maestro cards are the best that we do. it's dependant on credit scoring tho, and how you manage your accountno wins as of yet0
