So everywhere else was selling it for £250... and suddenly you all feel you are shafted because of, yet another, obvious misprice taking almost £200 off the price!
Come ON guys... we've all been here before. Some you win, some you lose. If you'd ordered it BEFORE it was publicised who knows, you might have got lucky!!0 -
ordered it last night.a person took the money out of my bank account.i phoned them this morning, lady said sending it out monday.she didnt think their was anything wrong with the price ! took them a long time to realise a mis price !!!
:mad:0 -
I had to phone up to get my refund activated so I am not sure whether they will do the refund automatically.
I understand that play do not have to honor the price but I dont understand why they have taken the money out of peoples accounts. It is now gonna take upto 5 working days for a refund?? Nice little interest earner for play I think.:A Totally addicted to MSE :A0 -

Actually, most other places have it advertised at £120 so it was only roughly half price.Come ON guys... we've all been here before. Some you win, some you lose. If you'd ordered it BEFORE it was publicised who knows, you might have got lucky!!
I'm not so much bothered about the misprice as I am them debiting my account, cancelling my order and sending no email confirming they have done any of this!0 -
i can understand a small mis price, but when a real human being types in the prices, dont they think the price is a little bit wrong. £260 odd down too £54.99 (78%) saving. how can you type in a mis price like that !!! can we trust any of their prices now.half price offers and the like.any order could be cancelled without warning.
heads should roll.......
would like to email them my feelings, but cant find an email address for an internet only based company !!!0 -
customercare@play.com
One of their CS managers told me they wouldnt honour it as they had acted within their T&Cs .
However if you actually read them, it states they will contact you if the price changes to see if you wish to proceed with the order which you can accept the updated price, or cancel the order.
From reading the replies here so far, noone was contacted and offered said options. Apparently we havent had an email yet due to the fact that a human being wasnt available to write the template, however one WAS available to update the price and cancel the orders.
Will let you know the outcome of the mail I have sent and I have indicated that I know of numerous others who are annoyed with Play's treatment.0 -

I had my eye on this so shame it now appears to be a mis-price. Not sure why it's now listed as £259.99 though. It's only £129.99 at PC World (online) - 5% Quidco brings it down to £123.49 (£120.86 after the VAT decrease). Think they've probably now mis-priced it the other way.0

I wouldn't worry too much, read the review I posted. It didn't come out very well!0
