hmm keep an eye on it... sometimes it says packing, then they realise an error, then send you "the email"...!!
I think this printer was that price for a couple of weeks though. I know I'd looked at it before and thought it had been reduced because it was end of line and the reviews weren't great! I guess now it's been featured on a savers website, suddenly orders have come flooding in and so they've put a halt to it!
I think you have a good chance of getting it if that's the case!0 -
I can remember Play.com do have a funny system as to how your status reads, First of all it goes processing then to the stage it is now picking the order and dispatching, but after that it goes back to processing the order again which is probably when they have picked the order.Lets hope it was a genuine price and they needed to off load a certain amount of units :j0

Very disappointed, needed a new printer.

Looks like they've just cancelled my order without notifying me
Currently awaiting a callback from a supervisor as per their terms and conditions:
"If an error is discovered in the price of the goods that you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. In the event that you order an item and the price published on the Site is incorrect for any reason, we will contact you to let you know the correct price and ask you whether you still wish us to fulfil your order at this price. We shall be under no obligation to fulfil an order for a product which was advertised at an incorrect price. We shall give you the option of confirming the order at the correct price or if you so choose, to cancel the order altogether. If you cancel and have already paid for the goods in the circumstances described in this clause, we shall refund the full amount in accordance with these Terms."
They haven't abided by this and have gone ahead and cancelled my order anyway without contacting me with the option to pay at the higher (obviously much more expensive) price.0 -
Regardless of there t&c's, they have debited my account. I thought that meant the contract between the 2 parties was formed.
I cant even find a contact email, just a phone number. I really don't want to talk to them right now.
A mis-price would of been fine. If they had contacted me and let me know, fine. Cancelling without letting me know and taking the money- not fine!0 -
They havent taken any funds from my account but looks like we won't get the printer at this price.
They dont seem to have any email addresses now, it seems like you must phone them. They would have received great praise if they'd honoured the price but now I'm going to be very wary of play!0 -

A refund that according to them will take between 5-7 days.
Nice bit of interest they will be earning on all the cancelled orders they've taken payment for!0 -
