I complained to Jersey Trading standards about this as did a lot of people on HUKD(discussion here):http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/280981/hewlett-packard-hp-c7280-wireless-a/showthread.php?t=280981&page=41 They have just emailed me to say Play are willing to make a "without prejudice" offer on a case by case basis.

Moral - don't rant a rave doggedly pursue and effectively argue your case to the right people and hope you make an impression. As I said earlier "It hardly matters that 99.99% of these things go the way you say, just that 0.01% if it makes a difference is worth it."

Like many others, I was just going to put this down to experience, but now that Billigmeister has made me think about it a bit more, I thought why not? I really need a printer, and was fully expectant of getting one. I effectively gave play.com an interest free loan for about 10 days, and didn't get anything in return, and still got no printer now!
I'm rubbish at complaining and to be honest I didn't really know where to start from, so thanks to all the useful informative posts that others have contributed, I have now complained to JTS (better late than never), and await their response.......

I feel a bit guilty about posting this in the first place now!! Having said that if Play are offering £50 voucher that is very good of them. I've ordered a couple of items before which turned out to be 'misprices' and got nothing, guess you put it down to experience, its also a steep learning curve with regard to the sale of goods act etc, a useful thing to know, hope some of you and Play have learnt a lot from this, its what this site is all about, its a great website.
Sorry you didn't get your printer.
