Not as cold here as they said and no snow, I really wanted it to snow, WMF, where abouts in the country are you ?, do you think you could send some down ?
There is a nice breeze so will get lots of washing done, dd's white uniform bits are in now, will then do a dark load, and finally boil up oh work clothes, which are filthy  .
Will get little dog out for a long walk today, will take a picnic and a flask of coffee, and apart from a quick hoover and mop nothing else will be done
Mrs Mix, its nice to see you posting again, glad you feel better now xx
Kiwichic Happy birthday :T

Good Morning All
Lovely and bright here today in Essex. WM and BM on, DS just off to football training.
Need to get dressed then will make tonights dinner - lasagne. Havnt done it for ages. Also want to go to another village to the butchers there for some meat for tomorrow. I did pick up M&S dine in for a tenner and got the chicken but have had that for the last couple of sundays so will bung that in the freezer.
Will clear the washing basket today and do loads of ironing then will light the fire and chill in front of strictly - love saturday nights at the moment.
(((hugs))) where needed.
Have a great day.

Morning everyone!
Awoke to a chilly morning here today- no snow though sadly! Have to say I miss snow- moved back to the UK last year after 5 years living in the USA and had got used to nice 12 inches of lovely fluffy snow!! Great for snowballs and igloo building!
Anyway right now its just cold drizzle!!
Today my dh has gone to a CVM conference so its just the kids and me! We need to do a food shop and wash cars and hoover them out(a punishment for YD!! ).
This afternoon I want to make the mincemeat for mince pies but not sure I have enough jars yet- might have to beg some from my Mum. Also want to get all the school uniform washed dried ironed and put away as we usually end up with a terrible rush on Monday morning!!
House needs hoovering (a job for ED!!) and the doggies need walking(that'll be down to me me then!!)
Hope everyone stays warm and has a great day!:D0 -
Morning all,
Mrs Mix - Glad you are better and well done to your DS
Sorry, I have read the thread but none of it went in, will edit my post later
got to have the drive belt on the car replaced this morning - hopefully it will only take an hour or so, as I have nothing to do in the time. Might go into Morrisons and grab a coffee and a book - I can't buy anything like shopping as I have to walk back with it
Anyway, I finally treated myself to a CK bag in Mr T last night, as I am fed up of being treated like a pariah when I ask for a carrier bag in stores.
Other than that, ironing, general tidying up etc. I would like to get everything sorted today so that I can sit down and do loads of Ebay listings tomorrow/ Speaking of Ebay - they have taken £35 out of my bank account for 'Ebay fees' which I have never seen an invoice for - have sent them 4 emails about it but they have not got back to me yet   . Might have to ring Paypal - I *hate* the way Ebay do not have a phone number - wasn' there a law passed that said a business HAS to have a phone number?
Have to find uses for 1kg of mushrooms as well - do not say mushroom soup.
Have a good one :beer:We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -

Morning panda,
You will have to get tax from the day it is on the road, so if you get it wed, you will have to tax it for the whole of Nov, can you hang on untill dec 1st ?
bit of a waste of money otherwise x0 -
