Grrrr - Somehow (and I haven't got to the bottom of it yet) I missed a DD off my spreadsheet.... for £38.... that came out today! Luckily, the other one that I knew about isn't due until tomorrow, so I have had to 'borrow' £38 from the house account to prevent my going over my OD limit. Borrowed £38 will be re-paid either this Friday or next.
Have now input said DD into spreadsheet and double checked all others as well - fingers crossed no more rogue payments!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Good morning All! I hope you are all well and enjoying the spring-like feel that now seems to be in the air?
Well here is todays update.....
Money in purse £4.06
Money available in account £11.60 (which will take me to my OD limit - Grrr)
Spends
Last night £1.14 on creme fraiche to make last nights curry with
This morning £12.56 on a pack of cigarettes and some diesel as was running on fumes!
Total money available to get me through today and tomorrow... £15.66
I don't need any more cigarettes before Friday, car has enough fuel to last til the weekend, dinner tonight is sorted, I have bought lunch in from home (tuna mayo sandwiches, cereal bar and crisps) and I don't think there is anything else we need (not desperately anyway!)
Oh, yes! I have a small confession.....
I have decided to take advantage of that wonderful thing Egg offer called Payment Holidays and have applied to take the next 3 months off repaying my loan. Ok, ok, so I know I was excited about reaching £1000 paid towards it - but needs must and I do need.
The thinking behind it!
I am off to the States in May - I am hoping for pennies for my b'day to put towards this - I currently do not have the spare funds available to be able to top this up myself. I am aiming to keep expenditure to the minimum for my trip and I'm not going to go mad buying stuff out there (unless a total bargain that I would be silly to ignore).
I have to have my car serviced - sometime in April / May. I do not currently have the funds available to pay for this.
Now - I kow this is not an ideal thing to do (and would even be frowned upon by ferverent DFW's) but during my payment holiday, I am aiming to make payments to my loan - so all will not be lost.
So thats it from me for now - as far as I know I am still waiting for Q.co to show money as received so they will pay me at the beginning of April.
Right am off to (maybe) do some work - or though a good ole browse through the diaries is in order first!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Good morning All!!!
Well, I'm back again with an update.....
Money in purse £8.06
Money available in account £3.32
Spends
Food! Well wine, beer and mayo! £8.56 (but took £4 off OH to cover the £4 for his beer, hence why I have more in purse than the day before!)
And that is about really. Oh, I did get a free copy of heat magazine yesterday, courtesey of OH's packs of cokes! Don't usually buy magazines anyway (get all my celeb gossip online! lol) but as it was free (even more so as I printed the coupon at work on their paper using their ink!) and it passed a little time last night! (I do remember why I don't buy them - but couldn't complain for free!)
Thats it for now (I think). I'll be back tomorrow with a full plan for the coming week - unless Q.co decides to list some money as received and then I'll be shouting with joy from the roof tops!
Have a good Thursday everyone, Nats xstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Yes it does! But you are only thinking and I have put the wheels in motion! I don't see what is wrong with buying genuine Uggs (the imitation ones are very bad for your feet) as long as you buy them the MSE way - ie as cheap as you can with as much cashback as possible!
(sorry, was I 'sposed to try and talk you out of buying them?:rotfl:)start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Yes you were!!!!! They're not the classic ones though, they're the cardi type so the heel is a bit more robust, I think.Start Date: 27/11/2010

Mmm - lets try again!
"OMG IF - you simply cannot buy yourself a pair of Uggs! How can you justify the cost??"
Did that do the trick???? lol (Nats scurries away to hide the evidence of a trip to the States and a 3 months payment holiday!)start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Oh, I forgot to mention in my morning update that I have changed my Barclaycard to online statements and should get £20 of House of Fraser vouchers for doing so! YAY!start = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Good Friday to you All!
Well, its payday again! YAY!!!
I have updated my signature to show my current A&L balance - there is only my mobile bill of £20.23 to come out next week, so a light week payment-wise!
Money in purse £68.06
Spends.
Nothing - nada - nought!
From my purse for the coming week..... I need to allow.....
Diesel - £10.00
Cigarettes - £15.30
Poker - £10.00
That leaves £32.76 for food and 4 birthdays I need.
So - it should be ok!
Now, I have a dilemma - OH and I have been invited out (and inititally accepted) to go to a friends b'day meal tomorrow evening. Now I/we would usually go without a second thought (hence already agreeing to go!) but my dilemma is that the night is going to cost a fair bit (dinner, drinks, taxi) and I know OH is running low on funds. I could drive and save a bit that way, but a taxi home isn't overly expensive and after the week I've just had, I do fancy a little drink. So, do I go? Do I go and do it on a real budget (have no idea how much the meal will be)? Or do I not go? Oh, dilemma-dilemma-dilema.
There is a chance that OH may not be able to make it as he may have his son, in which case I may go on my own - which will save some pennies... We'll see!
So - that is about it for now. IF, definitely have a look on ebay for your UGGS!!
Right, am off to do some work .... I'll be back if anything else pops into my little head!
