Right - here I am, updating on an almost sunny Tuesday morning.
Money in purse £5.20
Money available in account £20.00
Spends
Yesterday - 1 x pack cigarettes + 1 x multi pack own brand crisps for lunches
- 2 x multi packs of coke for OH, cheapo bottle red wine, bread & value cereal bars.
Took OH clubcard (as he had a voucher to enter an draw for a million clubcard points) and also one of his £4 clubcard vouchers - I know that spending them in store is not the best way to redeem them - but I don't drink coke and therefore didn't want to pay out £5.00 or them (not a bad deal as they were £3.8 each pack or 2 for £5.00). The bread was reduced to 30p, cereal bars were 74p (usual buy some branded stuff at stupid amount) and the bottle of wine was only £2.99 (in a cardboardy carton - but quite drinkable!)
I still need to get diesel - now I usually fill up (well, not 'fill up' but 'put fuel in')on a Friday (which I did) but I had to go to my brothers and back which was an additional 30 odd miles more. So I am thinking of topping up by £5-£7 to see me through to Friday and then I can put my usual £10 in (although will have to be adjusted at some point if the 3p/L tax increase does come through on April 1st.
I have lunch form home today..... cereal bar, some leftover low-fat creme fraiche with raisins and almonds, a dairylea sandwich and a packet of ridge crisps (which are very nice!)
Dinner tonight will be some reduced meat and dumpling dish OH picked up on SUnday and vegetables (we have plenty of those!)
I have enough cigarettes to last through til tomorrow (OH has a habit of pinching some even though he only ever buys rolling tobacco for himself!)
So, I am off to stare with meaning at Q.co to see if I can make it pay out sooner!
Catch you all later - or when I have another hare-brained idea!!! lol
