Hello again!
Right, well I have been working my little socks off today, but whilst sat on the phone listening to suppliers and customers drone on and on and on.... (you get my drift I'm sure!) I have been looking at and playing around with my shiny spreadhseet! (ooooh, spreadsheet! lol)
I have decided that each Friday (payday) I am going to make an overpayment to my Egg Loan, based on odd pounds and pennies on my balance for that day! (eg, £38.85, overpay by £8.85 to Egg Loan) I can see from my spreadsheet the impact on my current account these overpayments will make - I need to make sure if I am looking at making a bigger payment that the knock-on affect isn't me going OD in a few weeks when my outgoings are more than my incomings!
I hope the above makes sense? (I don't half waffle! lol)

Hello All! I hope you are all well and more mobile now the snow is melting?
So today is payday (have withdrawn my spends for the week) and also the day that my DD to my Egg Loan goes out (£241.94). I have rounded my A&L account down to £130.00 - paying an additional £9.98 to my loan!! YAY!
Here's looking forward to the weekend, although I am working tomorrow!

HAHHHAHAH - Just read your signature "scramble that egg" - I like it! I suppose attacking the Abbey card will be "break the Abbey Habit" (didn't that used to be their catch phrase?)Start Date: 27/11/2010

Hi All! Well it is a wet and windy Saturday down here! I 'spose the upside of being at work this morning is that I don't have to go out in it!
Well, not a huge amount to update from me. I discovered the 'grabbit' board yesterday! OMG - how can this be allowed on a MSE???? I am joking - I understand that if you want something and it is available on offer then you need to know - but when there is a link to the Office shoe sale and there are silly reductions on shoes and boots and sandals and.....*slaps herself round the face to calm hysteria*.... it is not good!!!But last night OH announces that we are going out for a friends b'day lunch on Sunday so any thoughts of new shoes have evaporated and the money mentally assigned for lunch instead!
I was taking a closer look at my Egg Loan details yesterday and noticed that there is 'repayment protection' on there! Now despite getting myself into my current financial situation, I have never taken out PPI or any repayment insurance on anything (too tight basically, lol) So now I am wondering where this has come from and this afternoon am going on a paperwork hunt to see if it has been there since day one (April 2006) or if it was added when I last took a 'payment holiday'! (If that is the case, I definitely said "no" to that offer. If no paperwork can be foundthen I will go down the SAR route and send off a cheque for £10 for them to send me all my details etc. Its never dull in my world! :rotfl:But, it could give me back £1500 ish, which obviously would be very nice thank you very much!
So, I had better do some work - apparently thats what I am here for.... not DFW surfing! lol
Have a great weekend all! :Tstart = Wed 19th Nov 2008 £21,225

Good afternoon All!
Well it has been 3 days since my last post - and not a huge amount to update!!
Am still struggling to avoid the goodies on the 'grabbit board!' (is there a way you can block threads? :rotfl:) But as of yet have managed to resist buying anything!(might need to take a sneaky-peek at the Office sale again - I do need new black heeled boots!)
Have done some extra delving into my loan and basically there is no PPI on the loan (as it was cancelled as soon as I took the loan out!). This is obviously good news - but the bad news is that there is nothing to claim or cancel to get any money back!
Right, had better go and do some work!! Hope everyone is well?

Well you're allowed the boots ONLY if they're within your budget!! Think though of a nice positive bank balance instead? Well done on the overdraft I can't wait until mine is out of the red!
